Does all I asked for. A bit quirky though!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup for basic use. My application is specialized for security cameras. Gives me good video streams, far superior to my last Asus (RT-AC68R)…. very few "gitters" at relatively high fps. Internet portion works well. I have this unit set as an Aimesh Router, and the 68R as a node. All in all good router.

Asus - AC3100 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This one was hard to get going once it was set-up. I had to reset it three times but after advice from a local Best Buy person, I got it up and going great. The software that comes with it is not very helpful as my former router Netgear. But I needed a more powerful one due to getting a new tv set for Christmas. My old Netgear one could not handle the new tv on it.

Asus best routers iv tried them all
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great range, great for gaming, run camera security system through it. Doesnt skip a beat. Use my old asus 68u as a range extender. I have burned so many netgears. Big family we do it all, streaming, wifi phones. Wifi calling, pc gaming, xbox gaming. It's the best.

Much better than my Netgear and Linksys
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first bought a Linksys and the 2.4Ghz would not work. Went with Netgear and the router would factory reset on its own a few times a week. Got this little guy and I have not had any issues at all. Setup was easy, speeds are where they should be and it has been reliable. A little cheaper than the other two routers but still a bit pricey.

Significant Improvement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this router as an upgrade to my previous router and what a difference!! My devices use to struggle to maintain their wifi connection at the other end of the house (need to have this router connected at one end due to home office). Devices now maintain full connection strength even when all of the many devices in our house are connected (2 game systems, satellite TV, many tablets and phones).
