Bought this to replace an older lyncsys that didn't cover into the backyard by the pool well. This is by far the best one I have tried. Reception is great everywhere I had low signal before.

First one wasn't functional. Returned it and got another one through BestBuy's great customer service. The second one booted up just fine. Has been working great for almost a year now.

This router set up easily and then worked for about a month and a half. Then it just died suddenly. I tried logging on at at router.asus.com but my password wouldn't work. There is no sign-on help, there is no password help. I fought with it for two weeks. Then suddenly it starts working again for no reason. I worked for three days, the poof it's dead again. I've sent four emails to Asus asking for sign on help and I got horrible set up instructions instead that start, then repeat, then repeat and finally repeat, each with varying instructions. I've been dealing with this for a month and still nobody at Asus will send me sign-on help. It takes forever cause if your password fails five times, the system freezes. I'm about to run this stupid thing over with my car.

I had to trouble shoot to get it to display the WIFI account. I think the problem might have been with the update that occurred prior to installation.

Have had it a month. Works flawless so far. Solid app. Range might not be quite as good as my old Linksys, but it’s still very good. Just glad it works, unlike my Linksys.

Just what we needed, works great and has a lot od nice options. Also has app that works fairly well, easy to setup...would recommend!

Needed more range...didn't want to spend for a mesh router. This is easy to Setup without computer. Phone app for control is easy to use and intuitive. Well worth the $.

Consistent wifi coverage that complements location. I can access reasonably outside and downstairs. Recommended by Best Buy and confirmed ASUS is one of the better router manufacturers.

I turned in my cable owned modem/router and this router extended my wifi signal and improved my extenders way beyond the previous range

Purchased 2 of these. One for the home in use for 3+ years. This second purchase was for use by offspring at college.

coverage and strength is good on the unit -- for some reason my Brother printers will not print wirelessley with this device. They will connect to it ( prints out the sheet that says wifi connected ) but cant ever get anything to print (printer is not discoverable in list of destinations when you try and print-- if I unhook it and plug my old ASUS router in it works great- something about the new one prevents it from working -- spent time on phone with CService and still not fixed

I bought this as a replacement for my aging Apple AirPort Extreme. The set up is not quite as simple, but far more versatile with many "power user" features. Highly recommended

I have purchased routers in the past and so far this is the best one that I have purchased. So far I have not have any problems.

The ability to connect your old Asus router as a Wi-Fi extension is amazing. I have a Asus AC1900 and at this moment is connected to a Asus AC3100 and work amazing

Was having trouble connecting wirelessly while in my shop out back. I switched old router with this one and now I can get reception while working or downloading plans for woodworking.

I connected new router 2 weeks ago. There is no issues. Assembly was easy and quick. It is the best home router for the money.

I have used routers provided by the cable company before...but they were not strong enough to reach the basement. So far this had worked great and and I can follow who is online.
