A lot larger than my old 66U. Replaced hoping for better performance but problem seems to be with provider rather than equipment. Doesn't run hot like old unit. Range does seem better than old unit. Easy setup and tweak.

Purchased this for my brother's new house. he had an old router that really was good for his condo. He now lives in a tri level house w/ concrete and the modem is located in the center of the house. I hooked this up, and he was able to use his nook, ipad, laptops, and 2 phones with really no black out areas. Well worth the money in my eyes.

Needed a new router for a larger home. More coverage then the old one. Works great in a recently built home, 2400sq ft. Runs multiple PCs, consoles and mobile devices with no issues. Very easy to setup and go.

The router works outstanding. I get great coverage. Installed in my basement, I still get great coverage on the second floor. Setup is very user friendly, there is minimal loss between wireless and hardwired. Love it

Even better than expected performance. We were constantly losing wifi connections before we purchased this router. We haven't had one since we installed it. Also the signal is stronger than before.

I was looking for a router with very good signal strength and able to cover two floors of my house. I am pleased to say that the router functions very well, no drops and very easy to setup.

I heard that ASUS routers were some of the best in the market and this router definitely delivers! I live in an older two story house and our TWC-supplied router was unable to penetrate any of the walls or the ceiling. With this router, we are getting 120 Mbps in most areas of the house and 25 Mbps in the trouble areas—plenty of bandwidth for watching Netflix, Hulu, etc. With this router everyone can stream in HD, while at the same time screen mirroring a MacBook Pro display to an Apple TV. If you're into modding your router, know that asuswrt is one of the most flexible factory firmwares out there, and asuswrt-merlin is easy to install and makes it easy to run third party Linux applications.

I've been using this router for practically 2 years now and my internet connection has been amazing. The range of this device is amazing. I don't need to use any wifi extenders and it can get a strong signal anywhere in the house and backyard too. Not too difficult to setup but there are a robust amount of features so it may take a while to setup. Can automatically conncect devices to 5gh and 2.4 ghz to optimize your connection. It is also capable of prioritizing streaming, gaming, or web surfing depending on your preference. There is just so much too it. Still receiving updates for free too.

My wifi range and speed have been an issue, so I bought this router with hopes of solving the issues. My range and speed are much better and I'm very happy with my purchase. The ASUS app is really cool and helpful. Simple set up as well. Before I bought this router I bought the Net product and was disappointed.

User manual describes functions that are not available on the router. Tech support knows less, then user can learn from the manual, so if you need tech support - do not even bother. A lot of functions on the latest firmware are not working as advertised, for example, traffic analyzer does not work if sorted by apps, and many more little things do not work... at least yet. If you need it for basic function it is OK, accept for some glitches with 2.4Ghz wireless. I had the router for a couple of weeks and had to manually reboot it only once or twice, when this radio was suddenly disconnecting some clients. Netgear R8000 has a stronger signal and slightly faster speeds, but their parental controls are a gimmick, I returned it in favor of ASUS, which actually has some basic parental controls.

This router is everything Asus says it is ! After replacing my old router with the new Asus router the performance of my wireless devices in my house improved quite a bit. Of course internet speed is critical too. I had a bit of difficulty with the set up but was able to overcome it with some assistance
