I am an Android mobile user, so it's like a laptop version of that. You can use anything via app or browser, which I like. Syncs easily with any blue tooth device. Thin, lightweight, and flattens 180 so I can crack it in half when I fall asleep like almost all of my last laptops.

In the past 2 months, I bought 2 Chromebooks, a Lenovo for my kid's college work, and this one for myself. I have MacBooks (not comparing with those!), as well as Linux/Windows servers as well. I was surprised to see that they had bundled a wired mouse in the Asus box, and after activating the CB, I quickly learnt why - the trackpad is absolutely unusable. It was jumpy, did not track well, and required Thor's hammer to click. There's a reason why this is so discounted - it feels cheap. The lightweight Chrome OS does what it does best - run Chrome, so the performance was what you'd expect. For me, as a direct comparison, there was no difference between the Intel based Lenovo and the Mediatek based Asus. Also, I am dinging this because BestBuy would not refund me what I paid for it using reward dollars (I am a BBY plus member). Upon chatting with them, they said that they would do so, and when I followed up with them the next day, they said no-can-do because the reward coupons were one-time use only. TLDR; 1. This Chromebook has a cheap build quality 2. BBY will not refund you if you use reward points
