For the price this is an excellent purchase. Accomplished exactly what I needed. For the normal user who is not focused on gaming or similar activities this is a great choice.

Great value for a basic Chromebook. Plenty of CPU for basic tasks. Biggest downside is the display has a lot of bleedthrough and is not sharp, but is functional.

Bought this for my kid and he loves it. It has good parental controls and he cannot install apps without consent and cannot open YouTube.

I love this laptop it’s great for me to watch videos and get some work done! Also love playing Stardew and Minecraft on here as well :) I recommend purchasing! :)

This Chromebook is the perfect personal device replacement for my “ancient” Chromebook. The Best Buy tech support was excellent, bringing me up to date on the technological advancements of the decade.

Not a bad machine for the price. While the screen is a decent size the viewing angles are awful if you are not looking directly at it at eye level.

Chrome book is great for basic usage. It's really all you need when it comes to Elementary and Middle School. There is no touch screen and some people may expect it to. I don't like how you can't use it without a gmail creation and if you need to change something with the gmail access it is difficult.

Normally, I research and buy tech. In the past 2 months, I bought 2 Chromebooks, a Lenovo for my kid's college work, and this one for myself. I have MacBooks (not comparing with those!), as well as Linux/Windows servers as well. I was surprised to see that they had bundled a wired mouse in the Asus box, and after activating the CB, I quickly learnt why - the trackpad is absolutely unusable. It was jumpy, did not track well, and required Thor's hammer to click. There's a reason why this is so discounted - it feels cheap. The lightweight Chrome OS does what it does best - run Chrome, so the performance was what you'd expect. For me, as a direct comparison, there was no difference between the Intel based Lenovo and the Mediatek based Asus. Also, I am dinging this because BestBuy would not refund me what I paid for it using reward dollars (I am a BBY plus member). Upon chatting with them, they said that they would do so, and when I followed up with them the next day, they said no-can-do because the reward coupons were one-time use only. TLDR; 1. This Chromebook has a cheap build quality 2. BBY will not refund you if you use reward points
