Excellent laptop for what I need. Play one game on it & works great for every day needs. I do not need it for work so I cannot comment on work needs. Long battery life & very light weight.

This has worked great for my kids, good battery life, light weight perfect for school.

Replaced an older Lenovo Chromebook with this. Build quality/sturdiness seems very good, the non-glare display is very nice, the computer is very responsive. It would have been nice if it had been a touch screen too, but I can live without that as I primarily use a mouse.

My review of the newest keyboard layout is a mixed bag. There are aspects I like and aspects I don't. I like the addition of the "G" key, a third modifier that allows for easier configuration of customized shortcuts. However, I hate the new design of the arrow keys. I need that space between the right shift and left and right arrows to feel the keys on the keyboard. Other than keyboard, the rest is mundane, common chromebook. With full linux container and android app support, manufactures must consider affordable chromebooks with 16GB RAM, sad to see that's not happening yet. Other than the keyboard, the rest of the CX14 is mundane and nothing special, a very common Chromebook. However, with full Linux container and Android app support, manufacturers must consider a more affordable Chromebook with 16GB of RAM. It’s sad to see that this isn’t happening yet.

Overall, its a really good computer for work and helpful with organizing my stuff. Its not recommended for gaming byt runs smothly otherwise. The only complaint I have is that the keyboard is smaller than I realized, but I have a bluetooth keyboard which solved that problem.

I have teenagers who need Chromebooks for school. In past experience, the Chromebooks usually last about 2 years and then end up getting destroyed in a backback or something, so I am focused on something that is a good price point where I won't be upset to replace it in two years. (No fault of the Chromebook.) I have only had this a few days, but it seems totally fine. The budget Chromebook specs have increased a bit in the past couple of years (8GB vs 4GB RAM), so it seems noticeably faster than the one it was replacing. Thumbs up so far. Bought this for the older kid and will probably end up getting another one for the second kid going into 9th grade. 14" seems like the sweet spot of small enough to fit in a backpack without being uncomfortably small to use. Ratings are based on price - it's not an expensive gaming laptop, but seems totally competent for doing school work in the Google ecosystem using Google Docs, Drive, etc.

It's a great product. The battery power and speed are strong. It has a sleek look and the value is outstanding.

Perfect little laptop to do casual gaming or schoolwork on. As far as the gaming aspect, it runs Roblox perfectly fine. The battery life is insane, and last me all day almost until the next day without charging. I personally love chrome os and how it runs, and even has features that normal Chromebook’s don’t have considering it’s a Chromebook plus version. The price is great considering what you’re getting for it. I definitely recommend.

I really like it. It is lightweight, all my cloud files were still accessible, and I can do everything on this Chromebook that I could do on my laptop computer.

Went in needing a new laptop because my other one was acting up and starting to slow down. Saw this one online, and was able to buy it for about $215 as a product that had been returned. Runs great and the battery life is much longer than my other laptop's. I still haven't figured out all the features yet, but so far, it's definitely one of the best purchases I've made.

There is nothing to dislike about this Chromebook. Resolution is excellent along with everything else. In fact, I use this more then my $2,000 Apple Macbook that I bought a year ago. My Chromebook weighs alot less. I think that is why I favor this more and the resolution is just as good as Apple in my book.

Pretty awesome device for the price point. This device has all the required specs for basic tasks, as I got it as a gift for a family member, and they love it. I would definitely recommend this device, if the use case isn’t too demanding.

Purchase from BestBuy.com and delivery went well. The product was purchase for my 70 year old father who needed to replace and aging Windows laptop. Unboxing and set-up went well. Everything is operating great and he is very satisfied with the battery life for his internet browsing needs!

I was transitioning from an Apple MacBook Air and wanted something a little more basic yet still provided me with all the software I needed. I’ve never been happier! I can stream multiple things at once and split the screen. It has all the Microsoft applications that I needed in which Apple doesn’t. It is by far the best laptop I’ve had and perfect for work and pleasure.

So far so good, nice build quality and weight, screen looks great, will be perfect for my 8th grader to use at school.
