Great Affordable Chrombook

What a nightmare. There is no way to set up unattended remote control in a Chromebook. Not even in Chrome. My Mom has vision & cognitive issues that make it almost impossible for her to provide ID numbers. So the "much simpler" system has been replaced by an elderly Surface Pro 5 that works a treat.

keyboard light dead right out of the box

It shows on the screen the bright and dim, but the keys do not light up. It never worked right out of the box. I will not be buying another asus computer again.

Asus 16" Chromebook!

He understood what I needed. He spent over an hour or more explaining all the features of most of the computers I was looking at. Definitely would recommend any if the techs!

VERY DISAPPOINTED!

The onscreen keyboard won't switch to the attached keyboard no matter what I do! I have tried restart, hard start, powerwash. The accessibility options say the OS keyboard is not on, BUT IT IS! And there are NO OPTIONS to change it in settings to the laptop keyboard. Why would anyone make a laptop with keyboard that only acts as a tablet? The attached keyboard is USELESS. A BIG WASTE!!

Not compatible with Windows apps

Lacking compatibility

Asus Chromebook

All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, this is a random problem. ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or part that stop working prematurely under normal usage. We recommend that you send the product in for service in order to determine if this is a hardware issue so this may be resolved immediately. A RMA number is required to send it in for service. Hard Reset
1. Remove all external devices such as the AC adapter, USB devices etc.
2. Press and hold the power button and refresh key for 60 seconds.
3. Reconnect AC adapter.
4. Turn on the power of the device

Brought it back that day, the rep thought it was probably the charger. I returned it and purchased something else.
