Great router, easy setup, handles 20+ devices at once without a sweat and gaming seems a little more consistent without as many hiccups or when people are streaming nextflix on other devices.

I had no issues setting this up, less then 15min. Computer , PS5, internet all work just fine. No log outs or disconnections.

The speed is phenomenal! The protection that it offers is second to none. It offers constant protection that automatically scans all the network activity on all connected devices.

Great router, easy to set up the AiMesh with my old ASUS router. I’m not a pro with the ASUS interface but it was easy enough to use, though with too many of configuration possibilities

Have set up in the basement at one end of the house. Good whole house signal. No gaps in coverage. Great for streaming and outdoor cameras. Daughter has no issues with gaming.

Fantastic product with lots of customization options. I took away a star because the factory firmware is buggy. Fortunately AsusWRT-Merlin does have firmware support for this product and is vastly superior in every conceivable way, including bug fixes!

I've tried a few of wi-fi 6 routers before but this one rocks. I did not get a drop of signal once and I have 44 devices hooked to it. Set it and forget it. Is that good.

Looking for router to replace my leased XB-7 Gateway. After reading the reviews decided to go with the AX86U. So far router has been running like a champ without any issues.

This is an excellent upgrade on my A68U, I tried another router AX6000 but it was not even close to the amount of wall penetration, distance or speed I am getting on this router. The installation was seamless and I am getting full 1gig download speeds on my cat 6 cables and wireless 5ghz bands. I also set up my A68U in wireless mesh mode and it worked seamlessly and now I have a mesh node extending my connection to the farther parts of the house for smaller devices. I have fully set up my network and customized it to my liking. The mobile app is useful but only when you are on the home network, while outside it does not do anything.

Love this router straight out of the box turned it on got fast speeds matches on what my ISP is putting out very noticeable when opening up streaming devices

I really like this router and all the things it can do. Solid and great speeds. The only thing that keeps it from 5 starts it’s the fact that I get dropouts sometimes, and I think it is because it doesn’t change channels very well when in conflict it’s other routers

Excellent wifi router. Strong signal and enough processing power to handle gigabit speed internet routing to 20+ devices, both wired and wireless.

Bought this to replace a refurbished Asus unit that went bad after a year. So far this one has been solid and I can pull almost wired speed from my devices that support AX!

Feature rich! Really fast for gigabit internet connection. Using two of these with AIMesh. Easily customizable with the stock firmware, and can add Merlin to it.

Easy to install router. Use it for upstairs bedroom to expand my wifi coverage. It easily links to my main Asus Router downstairs.

Really fast, considerably faster than my last ASUS gaming router which was about 8 years old, Interface is easy to use.
