Quick and easy setup (from an older ASUS model), good range throughout the home, and high speeds.

Getting excellent throughput over Wifi. A good improvement over my old Netgear Nighthawk Pro Gaming XR500 (from 4 years ago). Ping numbers are essentially the same, but the throughput is impressive, easily getting over 500 Mb/s or more to each devices. It's not really noticeable in day to day use unless you're streaming 4K video via Plex. But for sure, my girlfriend's old AT&T iPhone X had horrible reception before (vs. my Verizon iPhone X), but this new router solves that problem easy.

Word to the wise- it can be temperamental as to its location. If you're getting packet loss/ intermittent lag spikes, try moving it a few inches one direction to another - giving 4 instead of 5 just for that reason. For all the monitoring the app does it'd be nice if the app picked up on that and provided that advice rather than a finding the solution a dozen results deep in a google search. A lot of hype around this router and so far I've found its performance about on par with a significantly cheaper modem/router combo that our fiber service provides. Really like ability to prioritize traffic but its likely the case that our household doesn't have enough congestion to discern any effect of that prioritizarion.

First Asus router. Was not expecting much from it. Very surprised by the performance. It is quicker than my old Linksys router of 3 years. No problems so far and has a DNS filter that works great.

The 2.5 port is a nice touch, the wifi 6 is fast, and the UI is great. Id recommend it for sure.

The best modem there is! Modem is sturdy and reliable. Never goes offline. Internet connection is constant.

Very easy to set up. Getting almost a full gig download speed.

I am happy with this device and have found it provides a more stable and reliable connection than my isp's router. I have found that my isp wont offer any assistance with the router, so you want to make sure the router is able to connect to the isp equipment. I have a business account and because of the way my connection is designed I am able to connect directly into the modem but was told that some customers would have to connect the router they purchased (or own) to the isp's router which is connected to the isp's modem. For my needs having to connect this router to my isp's router would actually not solve the issues we were experiencing. Just an fyi.
