Can’t get subscribed speed over wired and wifi

Waste of money

ASUS RT-AX86U
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This unit replaced a 4 yr old ASUS RT-AC86U which was still working but no longer receiving updates from ASUS. And I wanted the WPA3 security. Have been using the AX86U now for 4 weeks. Setup-I used the website (not the app) as I was familiar with the process from using the AC86U. Used the same settings and setup was completed without any problems. Range-The router is on one end of a two story 2,000 sq ft house. The AX86U has better range, no dead spots and no freeze frames with video. Speed-no way for me to measure. Seems same as old router but may be due to internet provider limitations. I have used other router brands but have found that the ASUS age better with limited issues as they get older. Shipping-the router was packed securely with no box damage when received.

While other router manufacturers became scummy, and shifted to a monthly subscription for advanced parental controls, Asus at this point still includes all features as it should be. F U TPlink !!

I have 50 devices, 20 Ring cameras system they're always online. Never failed. I have 20 light devices they are very strong too and phones, tablet, My sons play games never stop, they are very happy with my wifi. Some Guy put on Google his reviews. They are very strong wifi, and I went to Best buy ordered 2 off them.

Slow and drops a lot

The consistent Wi-Fi connection and network stability pretty much depend on how you positioned the wireless router. Placing your router at the best location and minimizing interference can greatly improve network performance. If the Wi-Fi signal on your device is still weak or the network speed is too slow, please refer to more troubleshooting methods below.

Poor quality, and even worse support.

To give you an idea of the quality, they won't even *sell* support for their devices after a year. I suggest you try another brand.
