I have only used for a couple days i am more than pleased with this computer!!!Speed is excellent as well as battery life!!!it is small and well built!!I never owned a macbook air ,but i dont know how it can be any better!!and this is less than half the money!!This is my second Asus and i am very satisfied with thier products!!!

Excellent. Fast, easy, great! I love doing Zooms on my comfy sofa instead of in front of my desktop screen.

This thing is super fast! I love it. Chromebook finally has a winner with this one. Using as a tablet, table tent or a laptop is all smooth, silky, and simple. Keyboard has a nice feel and is back lit. Battery life is good, about 8 hours or so. I use it mostly for web surfing, emailing, etc... Google docs, sheets etc. I also have a bluetooth mouse to use when at a desk or table.

This has been an excellent alternative for when I don't want to lug my full-sized PC along on trips. Very fast and light, great screen with touch and the battery lasts a long time. The only annoying thing I've noticed is when I store it for more than a few days, something drains the battery down completely, and then when I need it, it takes 24 hours of charging before it comes back to life. I shut off the background programs that run when it's turned off but didn't make a difference.

I had an Acer Spin 11 that I bought for school....It was mandatory that we also used Microsoft Office online! So when I ran an Excel spread sheet, or did a presentation in Access, the Spin did the job, but very slow!! One of my classmates had the Asus Flip C302, and he was going thorough the assignments like lightning ! Since I only had the Acer Spin for a few weeks, I went back to Best Buy and returned it and added the extra money for the Asus C302, and I am now blazing through my spreadsheets and presentations with ease and speed! This thing "ROCKS" it is so fast loading web pages as well as movies on Netflix...Amazing difference from The Acer Spin! All I can say is buy this, you won't be disappointed!

Chromebooks are meant to be connected to WiFi at all times in order to function at all. Without WiFi, it's practically a brick unless you've managed to save a few PDFs directly to the device. However, as a fairly new device, it's already having constant wifi connection issues where it won't be able to locate any potential sources, including hotspots. The device already has very low functionality, so it's only real appeal was being a lightweight device with a long lasting battery for only taking notes in docs, using sheets, and reading PDFs while at university. However, all of this functionality goes out the window when it can't connect to WiFi and especially when it restricts access to basic troubleshooting methods and the help functions also rely on wifi accessibility.
