Laptop

Hardware problems or something. They just gave me my money back. It would of been a nice laptop if it didn't mess up. I only had it for 5 days since i got it in mail. It was for daughter so she can do school work.

If the laptop will no longer boot up or it's just black screen suddenly, it may be a Windows Update related issue if this occurred after an update. T
Usually, the following can be performed to resolve the issue.
Verify if the AC adapter is connected properly from the laptop to a known good power outlet or AC source. Try another power source.
Try to press and hold down the power button to shut it down completely, just in case laptop is not in hibernate mode, wait for at least 10 seconds then power on. Please wait, if the system is applying updates in the System Registry, it will black screen temporarily. If it still black screen after a few minutes, at least 10 minutes, please repeat the power cycle process again.
Also, please try to disconnect the power cable and let the unit drain for 24 hours to clear the memory. This will reset the hardware to default settings. After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter then power on the unit.

The sound was so low you can barely hear anything. The speakers are on the bottom of the laptop. I will be returning mine.

We would recommend that you update the audio driver on this model to see if it will make any improvement to you.
Please follow the steps below to perform this procedure.
Uninstall the previous version of "AUDIO". Go to the control panel, then programs and features, look for "add and remove programs."
1. Download the zip file.
2. Open the file and run the setup file inside.
Each zip file has a "setup.exe" application file inside.
Please restart the unit after downloading and installing these drivers.

Nice little computer - except the volume control does not work and intermittently freezes during online sessions. Possibly a video card problem. Anyway, it does not suit my needs so I had to return it.

To have the volume control hotkeys work properly, "Fn + F12" keys need to be pressed simultaneously, repeatedly. To decrease volume level, "Fn + F11" need to be pressed.
To avoid system freeze while online, please ensure the laptop has access to a stable and working internet connection or service. Also, make sure Windows is running with the most current update.

Don't Waste Your Money!

ASUS is supposed to be a top brand. I couldn't be more disappointed in this computer. It's brand new, and the "1" on the keyboard only works sometimes, if you put it in "sleep" it wakes up and proceeds to freeze, I have had 6-10 BSOD crashes on it. My HP worked better at 5 years old, but I'm not a big HP fan, so I tried ASUS. Not only is the laptop trash, customer service is not far behind. If you are in the market for a new laptop, don't buy this piece of junk.

Worst computer I’ve ever purchased

Normally, if a brand-new product was ordered and paid, WINDOWS activation process is automatic, after the initial WINDOWS setup completed and the laptop connected to the internet, since the SLC(Software License Code) is embedded in the BIOS. Entering a product key manually is not required, authentication or activation process is automatic, as mentioned. Please check with your seller if you were shipped with a brand new product,

Kinda sucks

Do not buy ASUS

It will break and they wont even give you support for it. They will have you wait on hold and say they are going to get information to help you fix the piece of crap they sold you then tell you actually i just found out your laptop isnt under warranty anymore so you're on your own. Customer support is only for products that are still under warranty.

Waste of money

You pretty much can only do one thing at a time on this thing. The other reviews said it's not good for gaming, which was fine because I don't game. But running Zoom and having my email or a word document open shouldn't be a problem! I got an error message last night during a Zoom chat with family saying my audio was distorted due to too many applications open. I only had Zoom and my email open!! This is ridiculous. Wish I could get my money back!!!

Not good for kid games

The laptop was not designed for gaming. However, it does support basic, casual or light gaming.
Surely, lots of satisfied customers, having positive experience using the product, will agree with me that the unit is a decent system that is perfect for running basic and light computing applications, without compromising system stability and performance as long as feature or cumulative Windows Update are being installed periodically.
Regarding the audio problem on one of the laptop, please make sure Volume was not muted and the correct output audio device is selecting inside Settings > Devices > scroll down to Sound Settings.
