I purchased the Asus Tablet a few month age from Best Buy an so I have not had any problem yet, for the time I've had it great service. I found case online that fit with tablet front an rear camera prefect.

Let's see bought a couple of these a little over a week ago & had issues from the start. My wife's tab worked ok for a day or so but then began freezing on games and browsing on the web. Finally, today it just flashes or blinks weakly when you plug to charge it. It's going back today and she is not getting another. My tab was dead on arrival - had a battery on screen with a question...seems others have had same "can't charge because battery not connected". Returned mine for another memo pad 7 & at the moment works great. Concerned about quality control at Asus but best buy customer service was great and apologized for our problems. So in the end, you may be rolling the dice with this one. Really can't recommend, sadly.

At this price there are other options available. The screen viewing angle is horrible. However, given the price, you would be hard pressed to find better performance.

I bought this tablet with modest expectations. I wanted to use it for Facebook and web browsing. I wasn't expecting a super fast processor, a super detailed screen or an excellent camera. I bought this tablet over many no name brands because I've owned Asus laptops before and was very satisfied with them. The first tablet I bought worked fine at first. I charged it once, left it on standby for a day and noticed the battery died. I went to charge it again and had the battery with a question mark issue other reviewers have mentioned. The tablet would start up and shut off immediately. I returned it for another. This one's WiFi connection goes in and out and takes ten times longer to download an app than my phone does over the same connection. All in all I'm very disappointed with this Asus product. I wasn't expecting top tier performance but I at least wanted it to work. Buyer beware.

Let me preface this with Asus is by far my favorite brand for any computer or tablet device. Unfortunately they have serious manufacturing issues with this tablet it's ridiculous. I have bought three of these and all of them have had defunct batteries or charging ports and will not charge to even turn on the first time......many other people have had very similar issues. Just spend a little more money and get a higher grade Asus tablet.

If you are considering purchasing this tablet, do yourself a favor and spend a little extra money on something like a galaxy tab. We purchased 3 of these for Christmas, and this morning the second of 3 stopped working. The first one would show a battery with a question mark as if there wasn't one, and would never turn on. Now the second of the 3 shows that it is charging, but after almost 4 hours on charge, still shows the battery in the red and won't power on. Needless to say, ASUS failed miserably with this product. I originally purchased them based on the fact that most reviews were positive. However, I have noticed a drastic decline in their customer ratings and reviews over the last week and a half and my experience has been absolutely terrible. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this tablet!

We bought 3 of these in Nov 2014 under the bundled package for the Holidays, they were Christmas gifts for our Grandchildren. I read the reviews at the time on here and most were positive. On 3/16/15 the first one was shipped out to Asus for warranty work, it stopped taking a charge. Now a 2nd on has gone down, worked yesterday morning (3/29/15) but by the afternoon it will only flash when starting then shut down! Now another call to Asus to get Warranty work done. 2 out of 3 so far are not good odds and doesn't say much good about the product. 4 months old, 3 months of use, now warranty work! Garbage product. I would NEVER recommend this brand to anyone, I will NEVER buy this brand again. Save your money and buy a better brand.

I have had two of these tablets. The first one had a battery malfunction, and was replaced by Best Buy within 15 days of purchase. There was a HUGE hassle for exchanging it due to the fact that it was part of a holiday gift set that also included a carrying case, and 8GB Micro SD. The replacement tablet that I received just failed today. Same battery issue. This unit was only 74 days old when it failed again. This time, it was not covered by Best Buy (as their policy states). I am tech savvy, and care for my electronics well. Great product when working, but when it fails you're SOL. Asus' own website doesn't mention this tablet as serviceable for repair or warranty. AVOID!

I like the size and weight of this tablet but haven't been able to use it yet; no wifi at home. I received this a a gift but the box is missing the adapter and USB cord; only the wall charger was included. Now I have to go to the trouble of getting a receipt from the giver and returning to BB. It sounds like this is a common problem. I emailed ASUS but haven't gotten a response yet. I've noticed it can also be a bit temperamental when turning on...sometimes have to press the button multiple times. I'm hoping I'll love this once I can actually use it for something!

This is my first overall tablet. However I have used previous devices. So im not new at this, my overall thoughts is that it has been flexable for what I use it for such as fun, work/busness. I would recommind this for anyone who wants a good product.

I purchased this tablet for my 9 year old daughter as a Christmas gift, and she loves it. Well worth the price.

I bought one of these for my son for Christmas. We followed instructions and charged before initial use. It seemed to work fine until the battery died. We plugged it in and charged it for several hours, but it wouldn't turn back one. I returned it to best buy and got another one. Thinking that it was just a fluke. Well two days into the new one the same thing happened. I will be returning this one and buying something else.

This tablet is essentially the same as the original Google Nexus with a different processor and additional camera. I've had mine for over a year and it's fine. Not the fastest or most capacity but great display and feature set for the money. Battery life is great on mine.

I got this tablet a few weeks ago and everything about it was great. It was fast, the picture was clear I never had any wifi connection issues. Unfortunately it stopped turning on randomly. I was so impressed with the tablet however that instead of returning it for a different one I opted to get the same tablet. Well the first one lasted a few weeks but this second one lasted a few days. Same Issue. I could not get it to turn on. And neither had ever been dropped or anywhere near any moisture or extreme temperature. Sad because it really was a good tablet when it would turn on.

Good tablet for the price. Tablet has a lengthy useful life before it has to be recharged.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, after reading reviews that said it was similar to a Google Nexus (my favorite). When it arrived I regretted it - cheap, flimsy, I knew it would be broken within days. She used it constantly and we made it almost 2 weeks before my daughter slipped outside, the tablet fell about 2 feet and now won't start. Even before that I had a lot of trouble getting it to power up. I should have bought her a Samsung for Christmas instead. I

Was looking for a new tablet that wasn't expensive. This was perfect! Under $100, easy to use and comfortable to hold. Very satisfied. I also love how the speaker is in the front !

We bought this tablet a on 1/1/15 for our daughter. It worked up until 1/6/15 before the Tablet shut off and would not turn on. While charging, the battery signal showed with a question mark. I returned it last night and got my money back. My daughter was not happy!!! We are going with another Samsung instead.

Bought this as a Gift primarily interested in watching videos and reading. Serves the purpose and exceeded expectations.
