i got this to go with my router. I had the one you get with the company to rent and I was only getting up to 50mbps, with this I now get the full 110mbps that I am paying for. the only downside is that, it does split between devices. and hard to set up to make it prioritize a device.

A BB employee recommended this unit and I am very pleased with the price, performance, coverage, and download speeds. Would recommend to all who are considering a cable wireless modem.

Have used this router in many different apartments and have consistently pulled great speeds off of it. I have it hooked up to a modem putting out 300mbps (according to our ISP) and have been able to consistently see speeds around 150mbps over WiFi. Not bad at all for the price!

The purchase of this router fulfilled all of the issues I had with my former wireless router by addressing the needs for connectivity for multiple devices and adequate coverage throughout my newly constructed home. The store associate steered me in the right direction!

Very pleased, I needed it for real time auction streaming and watching Netflix on my Roku device and I have been very pleased. I have it in my office which is located 50 + feet from the exterior of my house and it broadcasts a signal strong enough that I can stream my Netflix to my Roku device which is located in the middle of my house, with no buffering. I was told by the sales person that he did not think it would work, but if it did, this would be the unit that could do it and it does, and with no boost device! I also have an ASUS computer and I have had great luck with it also, so at this point I am an ASUS believer!

Still a big ASUS fan due to their quality and reliability. However, it's strange how it would cap my download speed (from the internet) to only 5 Mbps. However, internal transfers seems to be fine. I get tired of some brands of routers overheat or software crashes and had to reboot. All ASUS so far have all been very reliable.

I'm partial to the Asus brand, and this router provides a good example of why. The firmware is sophisticated and easy to use with many features. The signal is strong and the router can be set to act as either a router or an access point with a single click.

Works very good, good wireless range, seems fast, 4 star rating because of unexplained rare signal loss for a short time, less then a minute, then it's good. Easy setup, less then 5 minutes to get it working on my windows laptop, android tablet and iPad. Operating good for 4 months except for the short rare unexplained signal loss.

I wanted a router with the range to cover my back yard. This router not only covers it but then some. I really like the dual range and guest network. Very easy set up.

This was my third try at a new router! Tried a Netgear, Linksys and finally an Asus on the recommendation of a friend. Strong signal, no dropouts or resets and no built in securiy issues like netgag. Have been using it for a couple months and great so far!

Best router I have used so far. Here is why: Range... My dead spots I used to have with other routers are no longer dead spots. My house is 2 stories 2200 square ft and it works in every room; up and downstairs. Stability. ... The speeds are consistent. It doesn't bounce back and forth. Fast ... On both 2.4 or 5 ghz Cost ... For $99 it's a no brainier. I think the antenna really helps. Super easy setup Highly recommended

I bought this router for my father's house. It supported all the latest Wi-Fi standards and would be used primarily for his new Insignia Roku TV to connect to the Internet for watching movies. If you know what you're doing and have experience setting up Wi-Fi routers, then you'll find it pretty straightforward. If you're not terribly computer or tech savvy, then you might want to ask a family member or friend to help out. These things don't have the most straightforward control panel software designs. At least you can set it up in a browser -- you don't have to install an app. FYI: I set it up by connecting an ethernet cable to an old iMac (2010 model). It was just fine.

This is a solid router with good wifi signal strength. Watch out for the firmware updates, however. I had to restore factory settings on all my Asus products because of buggy firmware. After updating at installation I was dropping wifi constantly. Now since restoring to factory defaults, no issues. Go figure...

This router turned out to be pretty awesome. We llive n a house full of gadgets for the kids, and us, the parents. We can be on Netflix on our tv, some of the kids on the Xbox, and the other kids on YouTube, and not have any problems with the speed.

I was in a pinch for a router. The BB employee who helped me recommended this Asus. It is great, as I get a good strong signal anywhere in the house, even in the farthest bedroom upstairs. It sits in a cubby next to the fireplace and still works great.

A clerk recommended this product for my needs after I explained the problems I was having with my old wifi. The instructions for installation could've been written more clearly, but overall it wasn't brain surgery to install. Once we got it up and running, I couldn't be happier. We no longer have dead spots in the house. The antennae help send out the signal very efficiently. We have 9 devices in our home network and we've not had a single problem since we got this unit. I highly recommend it for a home that has several phones, tablets, laptops, PCs and a video game system like we do.

I purchased this product because I was having issues with dead spots at certain areas and my children were complaining because of lagging while they played video games online. This router solve all of the problems plus increased the range....

Internet speed is very important and this router handles 7 devices constantly connected to the Internet, several downloading and streaming media at 60 Meg's. Definitely recommend this router.
