works very well. It does everything that I need it too. It also has a very easy to use user interface. I like the features of being able to hook up a printer and also an external hard drive.

I think this device is amazing. I am able to get 58 mbps over wifi on many of my devices, something I thought was not possible in my house. But this was a great price and was the upgrade i needed from the linksys E1200 i was still using.

This router was recommended as one that is easy to set up. I purchased 2, one for me, and one for my mother. I set up both with no problems except one. The security key provided contained O and it was difficult to tell whether it was an O or an 0. Once I figured it out, the rest of the setup was a breeze.

Stable and fast. Provides everything I need including ability to block IPv6 DNS servers from ISP. I disabled WiFi as I have a dedicated WAP. Connect fine to Motorola SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 HighSpeed Cable Modem Silver SB6141. Recommend the two.

I have purchased a much more expensive router for my brother in the hopes it would cover enough area from his house to mine. Ended up adding the Asus unit in my house and it actually covers more area that the more expensive unit. Great value.

I bought this router after discovering that my cable company was going to start charging me extra per month to use one of their routers, in addition to the fee I was already paying for the modem. Unfortunately, our apartment complex only lets us use one cable and Internet provider, so there isn't a lot of leeway there. We bought this router and got it installed within the hour. It works great and MUCH better than our old router from the cable company. The WiFi reaches all areas of our apartment, which was not the case with the old one. Would recommend to anyone!

I had to get a new router when my old one stopped working. I picked up the ASUS as I have had success with ASUS products in the past. The router was easy to setup and works wonderful.

needed a new router and this one has adjustable radio power to 200mw and it was also dual band and it comes with 3 antenna's for maximium coverage ,,now i can run all my wireless computers at the same time with no indication of drop out or signal. loss. Seems to work much better than my netgear one did. I use netflix and the internet constantly and also have some Lan connected DVD/BLURay players that get online content also ,,all work fantastic ..love it

5 minutes after I opened the Box the router was setup. After additional 5 minutes all PC's , tablets and the printer was hooked up. The bad? This Router can't handle WIFI Roaming.

Great wireless router, Fast! replaced our old 2007 Linksys. Now everything is working faster than ever, computers, TV's, phones, etc.. Why I only gave it 4 stars- the manual is not detailed enough in the explanation of all the settings it offers, the same as searching for it on the ASUS website.

We had our electrician guy install this properly at our cabin to replace our old ancient router, and was promptly informed how awesome this router is an he wasn't lying! This thing is great for the price, with amazing connection!

Purchased several months ago as a replacement for a unit that just wore out. Chose this one as it was closest to the one I replaced. I am completely satisfied. We have definitely seen an increase of speed for all of our wireless devices as well as increased signal strenght. The unit is NOT centrally located in my home, residing in the upper right most corner of my 2nd floor, the lower left side of my basement receives > 50% of the signal. The neighbor 4 doors down receives my signal and could us it. I would recommend this for any home under 3500 sq ft.

My old wi fi router died after about 8 months it was just some lower end router and it served it's purpose.I went to Best Buy and after visiting with an employee who recomened 2 different routers for my application and size of house I decided on this one. It was way more expensive then the previous one but I need my wi fi. Hooking this up was a breeze and I was blown away by the extened range for my devices, and this baby is fast, makes surfing the net or streaming movies a pleasure without all the buffering. You won't be disappointed

This Router is far more powerful then the last one . Being able to reach farther in our home makes a difference.If I want to watch something in one room my husband can watch Netflix in another room.Without it going out.

This router was fast and easy to install and we haven't been disconnected since! We were having to plug and unplug the old one and the internet was slow if more than one person was using it. Now it is much faster and no disconnect!!

The router is very easy to set up and to use. I would recommend it to anyone, except be aware that in a large home that is spread out, like my single story 3800 sq ft home, the signal strength in some parts of the home is weak to non-existant. However, with some trial and error positioning, I was able to locate the router in a spot where it was just right for my use. The difference between the 2.5G and 5G bands is not well documented and I just presumed that 5G was better. Also some older PCs or other wifi equipment will only pick up the 2.5G and will not see the 5G. In spite of all this, i would recommend this unit primarily for its easy setup and reliability / stability.

I was using the wireless cable modem from the Internet provider and every evening when everyone was at the house the Internet got extremely slow. I used this router as the main Wi-Fi and turned off the company's modem Wi-Fi. This solved all my problems, and now we get over 100 Mbs.

If you have a cheap router ($50 router) throw it away or sell it on ebay! This router is sooo much better speed wise than my old belkin...which malfunctioned after less than a year. Asus comes with a 2yr warranty as well.

This router works great for our family, my son had trouble getting a signal in his bedroom with our old router. We upgraded to this one and I have not heard any complaints from him since we installed it. It is easy to install as it took less than 5 minutes to hook it up. I would recommend this wireless router to anyone looking for a great home system.

Although the price has come down significantly, this router is simply among the best. I like the Dual Band features which enables new devices and old devices to take advantage of N and G bands without having to upgrade to a better receiver or having to deal with no back support. N speeds are blazing fast with NO drop outs in signal from pesky 2.5Ghz appliances. I haven't found any major downsides to this product yet.
