In the past I had only used Cisco / Linksys, but after being told about Asus, I thought I would give it a try. This has worked flawless for quite a few years. Updates are always available, but it does run a bit on the hot side if you have a lot of activity going on in your location.

My barn is over 1000ft. I use this as a second router to my barn. Works perfect.

This router helped get my whole apartment hooked up with high speed internet. Was very pleased and was easy to set up.

Easy to set up and my wireless runs fast and smooth. I have many devices running of this router with no issues whatsoever.

I tried a few other routers but couldn't get signal in some parts of my house. I had the Linksys EA4500 and couldn't get service on the far side of my house and video streaming was choppy ... this Asus router was like night and day on range and speed at a long range.

I love this router. My family can connect to this router anywhere in my three level home. Asus made me a believer.

It was fairly easy to setup. It is possible to plug it in and have it just work. However, we did setup Mac filtering which was easy and quick, minus having to look up our device mac addresses. It is very visually appealing, compared to most consumer routers. The stand it comes with doesn't make much sense though. I tried for 10 minutes to figure it out. It is built so that it can easily slide into place much like home phone mounts. However the only way it COULD go on would raise the front and lower the back so it looked upside down/backwards. All I could guess is that mine shipped with the wrong one? The stand is not really a big deal though because it does sit just fine without it. I I absolutely LOVE the subdue nature of the led lights. Most routers are bright and obnoxious but these are quite subdue in comparison. We have ours right behind our TV and the network activity light doesn't even distract from what we watch. The reason I give this a 4 star instead of 5 is that my laptop has some issues connecting via wifi. For a little bit my laptop would give an error saying it couldn't connect because the it address already existed. A reboot fixed that problem. Since then I somewhat frequently have to disconnect and reconnect for the Internet network to work. It could be ip address related but troubleshooting just tells me try disconnecting and reconnecting. It works but is definitely a bit annoying. I'm sure it just need some settings tweaked. So if you are even a bit savvy I would recommend this.

I installed this to use for my church's library. When I plugged it into my laptop to configure, Windows 7 just asked for the serial number of the router and the Asus install page appeared. Configuration was a breeze. The range of the router with the three antennae reaches my smartphone, tablet and desktops throughout the building.

Replaced an old Linksys with this. Setup was super easy and haven't had to reset in the few months we've had it.

My tech recommended this model to enhance my internet connection. It was super easy to install and I did it my self!

My tv had problems loading Netflix before I bought this. Now it loads instantaneously. No problems! Easy install.

The router has decent range, enough features to satisfy anyone and remote access via Web and downloadable phone apps.

The overall performance of the router is simply amazing. The WiFi range is better than any other router I have tested. The router handles all of my devices with ease. Only thing I notice is if there is a lot of activity on the network the RT-N66U gets luke warm.

Router has great range and is easy to set up but make sure you have newer technology (or upgrade your drivers) otherwise computers may have trouble picking it up

I replaced my Linksys with this guy & hands down no comparison. This guy is super fast! Awesome for gaming too!

This router is a good choice for home or small business, It is easy to set up. The Wi-Fi easily covers our home. And our speedtest speeds went to just over 350mbps as compared to the cable furnished router at about 150mbps. We do alot of streaming and it has totally eliminated that annoying "Buffering" coming on during the middle of a program, My son is a Gamer and he said it all but stopped his buffers as well... A nice piece of equipment for the money

I bought this router to replace my old one and I'm satisfied with the purchase. it gives a stronger range output.

Quick and easy set-up, strong signal. Own it for 6 months so far had to reboot only once. I like guest feature.
