I am used to purchasing the cheapest wireless N router out there. They would drop signal but I figured at that price when things went wrong I could afford another one. That got old quickly, I went with this router after the BB associate showed it to me. They said it has a much better ability to handle all the traffic my wireless devices need and would hold a stronger signal better then my previous purchases. I cannot complain. It has performed well and in my opinion was worth the extra dough.

I have been using this router in my home since it was new to the market and purchased this one for a client with a large home that was having issues. This is one of the only routers that has been able to provide good coverage throughout our home. The features are excellent. Asus continues to support and offer firmware updates and there are a few third party firmware package that work even better (I use Merlin).

I purchased this after two recommendations from friends. It was extremely easy to set up and has given me no problems since then whatsoever. I have solid connectivity through wired devices and my wireless signal is much stronger than it was with my old router. The only improvement I would suggest would be for the antennas to be able to be a tad tighter, but as long as you don't bump them, they don't move.

Works perfect for my TV, PS4, NAS, Phones & Laptops. Would recommend this to anyone. The UI is a little confusing, but functional.

This router was very easy to setup. Within minutes of taking it out of the box it was up and running. I was looking for something powerful but not too complicated to configure and this definitely fit the bill. Have had it running for more than one month now with no problems.

This router gives us the highest internet speed we can get. It was well worth the money.

Used to install Linksys, Now I only use ASUS. Easy and reliable with good range for wifi!!

I have disconnected it twice and both times it continues to give me optimal performance

Bought this to replace a Netgear router that went bad after only a few months. Set=up was really easy--even though, at first, by the directions I thought might be harder than it was. Really pleased with the signal strength and speed and never have any dropped connections.

I am getting much better range from this router than my old one, also for a great price.

Had to replace my eight year old 802.11g router. I was looking at Netgear but went with Asus. I'm happy with my decision. The old router was having a hard time supporting three laptops, three tablets, two printers, three smartphones and a VOIP phone system. The new router handles everything well. Was using WEP on the old router and changed to WPA2 for better protection. I haven't set up a guest network yet. The signal strength is much stronger than the old router. The network speed is a little faster also. I use TWC's slowest plan. Had to install updated firmware with no problem. Very happy with this product so far.

I was not really considering this router until a friend bought one and started raving about it. I decided to give it a try and honestly wanted to see if he was just being facetious about how good it actually was. He wasn't lying... It's that good and then some. I went from a very unreliable 18Mbps/3.5 with a 25/5 connection from Comcast to 27.5/6 connection instantly. And it stays pegged right on those numbers without lag or spikes. It's the most reliable signal I've ever had with any router I've ever owned. The only "issue" I've had is that it doesn't have quite the range of my old Netgear a/b/g router though it is still plenty large enough to cover my 1600 sq. ft home. I'm sure someone has already gone into the gory details about the technical side of this router so I'll just wrap it up here. If you're on the fence about this one, get off and get to the nearest Best Buy and pick this up. You won't regret it I assure you.

Love the increased speed, did take a little bit of work to install, but nothing bad.
