This is the third router we've purchased in the last year, and it's the only one that's reached throughout our entire house with no issue. Fast, reliable connection, and it never drops out. Highly recommend.

I have much better & faster internet for my laptop since purchasing this item

I recently purchased a Netgear n750 dual band router that lasted 1 1/2 years before dropping wireless signals, at first the 2.4 ghz frequency stopped working then the 5 ghz frequency started to randomly drop signal. I replaced it with this Asus n900 dual band and the range is so much farther with a stronger signal strength. I've owned it for 5 months so far and it hasn't given me any issues. As usual I trust Asus brand for every pc build so hopefully their wireless solutions are just as reliable. ***running standard cable speed @17mbps with 4 computers, 2 iPads, 2 phones, 2 smart tv's and a ps4 running on this router. None of them have experienced lag yet.

I wanted to have a powerful wi-fi for the whole house. I have a multi level home and our last router had to work with a wi-fi extender...and it didn't work very well...needless to say, the speed in which browsing online, music streaming and movies is very impressive. I would highly recommend this router.

When I wanted to upgrade my wireless network to 802.11n, I immediately chose Linksys based on previous router and reputation. I was sorely disappointed with the performance and Linksys was no help; they tried to upgrade me to a better model. I did some research and was surprised that Asus had such high ratings. Best Buy allowed me to exchange without a hassle. Best Buy has really stepped up their game on customer service. Asus has also stepped up their game compared to the laptop I bought a few years back. This unit performs great with no interruptions.

Having just moved to Las Vegas, NV to a house where my buddy already had a network setup, I noticed how slow the internet was. After doing some research, I figured that it could be the router. So we went to Best Buy and came home with the Asus. Yes, it was pricier than what we wanted, but I figure it would be a better investment due to the online reviews on the product. We took it home, hooked it up, and noticed a significant difference in speed. So far it hasn't crashed on me, which means that so far... I'm happy.

Works great. No issues so far. Never have any dropped matches when gaming.

Picked up this brand of router at the suggestion of a friend and have had zero issues and even solid customer support from ASUS themselves. My household has made good use of the 2.5 and 5g wireless options and this router has been a solid source for our streaming and gaming wants and needs.

Router was easy to set up and easy to set up. Was using within minutes.

Router works as expected. Has dual band mode, which is great for watching movies, while others are surfing the net. Have 10+ devices connected to router at any given time. No drops.

I have Charter Cable and had to upgrade my modem to the doxis 3, so I had to purchase a new router, I did my homework and came up with this one, has fast connection, superb signal strength, dual band.

love the software that controls all the functions on this router like limiting the time the kids can go on and the sites. It has time management and restricted sites..no rated X sites for them or late night internet on school nights...The unit works and streams nicely..no problems here

I replaced a D-Link router with this model. Great investment! I was surprised at the ease of setup. The signal is strong through the entire house and backyard. Great for gaming. Love it!!!!!

This wireless router is easy to set up and has plenty of boost in its signal strength. Been using ASUS routers for number of years. The name ASUS is trustworthy in its quality and built.

It "just works". Reliable. Dependable. Set and forget for the most part. For the more adventurous, it also supports 3rd party firmware. I loaded up one called "Tomato" that added quite a few more features, but also a lot more complexity. If you don't mind complex, it's worth a look.

This is a decent router but I often find myself having to power cycle it. I also have issues with the dual wan functionally where every now and then the router can't seem to keep the two wan circuits separated and it causes my internet to go out. I have also noticed that the processor stays pretty pegged out which may be contributing to the need to reboot.
