A bit too lager but looks cool and has a great range.

I did a lot of research before buying this product and I have to say, it works very well. Better than the linksys and netgear routers that I have purchased in the past. DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!!!

Overall very good. Not sure why and it could be other factors, but sometimes it goes in and out for a few seconds. Not the end of the world and is only for a very short time period. Overall very fast and great range!

If I could get the 5Ghz to work, the router would be amazing. It drives a dozen or more devices with great speed and stability which was a huge improvement. The admin GUI is fantastic and easy to use. The 2.4Ghz is very fast and stable, so the lack of 5Ghz isn't a show stopper. The 5Ghz functionality was quite frustrating however. I searched far and wide for solutions on the net, but was never able to find anything that helped. It either drops out or connects with minimal bandwidth and it does not appear to be client or OS dependent. A real shame, as it would be a full 5 stars otherwise.

This Is An Awesome All Around Router! Easy To Use Interface, Super Long Range, You Can Even Set Hours And Bandwidth Fo All The Gadgets In Your Home. For Example...If You Have A Younger Child You Can Shut Off The Wifi To THeir Device After 900 Pm Or Whenever Or Limit Them To A Few Hours And Throttle Them. The Range Is Awesome I Have It Mounted In MybBasement And I Get A Good Signal Three Floors Up!

My old router had to be restarted every other day. I would loose internet connection. Asus is fast, dependable and covers a great distance. Easy to set up.

Needed a greater range and stronger signal for my home wi-fi net work. Picked up this dual band router and have been very happy with the performance.

I go through routers on average every 9-14 months. About the time I start seeing signal drops on a consistent basis I purchase a new one. My last router was the Netgear n900 which was rated very high when I bought it. Out of the box the Asus didn’t have quite the range as the n900. It was most noticeable in the ipads but towards the edges of the house my laptops would have issues staying connected as well. We do have a lot of wireless networks around us so there is a lot of interference. The router is also located in the basement and most of our devices are on the main floor. Adjusting the TX power setting on the Asus wireless router from the factory 80mw to 160mw cleared everything up and I haven’t had a single signal issue since on any of our devices. Throughput is great. I can reach the full 50Mbps download speeds at any point in the house. We put our wireless routers through quite a workout. We have several apple tvs in our house and do a lot of video streaming, sometime several 1080p streams at once while surfing the internet on several devices. The Asus keeps up with it all without a hiccup. Time will tell how it holds up but I have a good feeling this one may last longer than the others. I’m not a big fan of using warranty’s (seem more trouble than they’re worth to use them) but I do like the fact that Asus feels confident enough about their product to put a 2 year warranty behind it.

In addition to being able to use custom software, the dual mode is fantastic, the speed is great and it is everything I needed to replace some aging WRT54Gs

So far this has worked well for me. It was fairly easy to set up, pretty much plug n play. I had one issue or two but may have been more of an internet provider thing. Good signal, easy to use!

Needed a good fast new router to cover a big home, multiple devices and video streaming. Check, check, and check. No complaints and easy to set up.

No problem with set up or dropped connections. Watch TV online in place of cable and no buffering so far. Set up in townhouse with 1100 square ft and 5 devices using internet

This router is great but be sure not to have it close to walls as u will have a lower signal. Also because of the 5 ghz its on a different channel so it isnt blocked by other wifi router in the area (ex : apartment building).

This router was a breeze to set up. It provides a strong signal to my entire house (4,400 sq. ft.). I haven't had any issues at all with it.

I use this router with my Motorola SB6141. They work together really well. I was hesitant about having to switch back to Comcast because of past experiences, but using my own equipment has made a world of difference. Service has been consistent and speed tests continue to show 72 Mb down / 12 Mb up which is great considering the Comcast Blast! package I am subscribed to only quotes 50/10. I opted to use this same setup when helping my mom set up her home network and she too has had great results. I would highly recommend this router.

It was very easy to install and set up, and is very fast. It has been installed for a month or so, and I haven't had a problem with it yet.
