This item is great. It was very easy to setup and now my wireless connection goes throughout the house with no issues.

If you are looking for a stable router, with a few decent attached storage features and don't have a pressing need for 802.11AC, this is a great router to consider.

Comcast Xfinity's provided modem/router combo can't produce enough signal to work 35 feet away. Plugging the ASUS into the modem has provided MBPS ranging from 15 to 90 compared to zero to 5 (on a good day) without the ASUS. The weird thing is that an old XP laptop used 7 feet from the router only works intermittently on the regular network. It works fine on the "guest" network. It's always something.

fairly easy to install. needed wireless that would reach second story bedroom at the other end of the house. ok signal at end of house

Would buy again if needed. Like Asus products. Just too easy to setup and speed acceptable.

From a wireless router standpoint, this is a fantastic solution. Everywhere around the home, I gained 1-2 bars signal strength. No problems dropping connections. The only negative I found is the use of the applications, which are slow and clunky. The NAS is so slow, in fact (some reviews put it at 5MB/s), that it is virtually useless. Still gonna keep the router... just need to look at a dedicated NAS/DLNA solution.

My old router was throwing us off the internet so we replaced it with the Asus. It hasen't thrown us off once and seems to work well with our new Samsung TV.

I am not very technically savvy, but I needed to set up a secure wireless router which I needed to replace my old unsecure unit. This was recommended by a salesperson for its ease-of-use and large coverage area. It has accomplished my goal...and for a decent price!

3 Routers later I finally found one that works great! Third time is a charm. After figuring out the set up the router, I'm very happy with this product.
