I've been using this router for about a month now. It was one of the fastest and easiest routers I have ever setup for the home. For being a Dual Band Wireless N router 2.4/5GHZ, the coverage is not that great. Within 20 ft the coverage is awesome but any further then that it drops out dramatically. It might show excellent signal strength but the speed is around a few hundred Kb to 1-2Mb. Which when compared to the Netgear I have get around 30-40 Mb transfer speed. I'm going to see about switching to different firmware versions to see if some of these issues fix themselves. The next problem I have is the internet drops out every so often on it, to the point where I have to reboot it to get everything working again, which happens a few times a month. Again I'm hoping that rolling back/upgrading to a different firmware will fix those issues. Other then that it has a very easy to use webgui, I believe it even supports ssh and telnet if you prefer that route. It supports DynamicDNS services from Asus along with VPN server/client settings.

Bought it to replace a Netgear router. Installation was incredibly easy and automatic. The router got an I P address from the cable modem very quickly. Have also shared pictures using a USB stick inserted Into the router. Worked very well. I am very pleased with this product. Just hope reliability holds up. My previous routers have lasted only 2 years on the average.

I've owned one of these for a while now, so when I moved out and decided to let my girlfriend keep my other I knew exactly what router I wanted. Works flawlessly. Never had any issues. Great built in features. Never needs to be reset. Never had a single issue. Will definitely be buying another ASUS router when I make the switch to AC wifi.

This is an excellent router for the price. Can be setup with or without an install disk, so it great for novices and experts alike.

I took it out of the box and set it up right away. It took a while to update the firmware but that's my only complaint and it's very minor.

My last router was a Linksys WRT54G. I was doubtful that I would ever find another router that performed as well. But after reading several reviews, I decided to go with this router and have been very impressed. This Asus has been a solid replacement with no issues after 3 months.

needed more powerful wifi for three story house. this one is doing a good job. 4 tablets..a laptop..and 2 desktops(wired connections)

This is a great router with easy installation and excellent price.

I was having problems with my old one needing to be reset too much so I tried this one after some research. Problems are gone. Now we are using it to stream television along with usual laptop/ desktop/ and playstation traffic also.

My old linksys was on its way out, so i decided it was time for a new router. I have two of these at work and they were really nice to work with. As soon as i bought this router my speeds greatly improved and i have 5 bars of signal everywhere in my apartment and even a decent bit away from my place (tested with an iphone). The ftp server option is awesome.
