nought this router because my other one is Asus. I figured they would work well together. They do. Works fine.

Much faster and great quality equipment, zero problems which we had before.

While Wireless AC will be the future standard, I have no compatible AC devices now, so why pay twice as much for a new wireless router? The installation was easy and I had my network up and running in less than 30 minutes with over 15 connected devices.

I had put off upgrading my wireless router but am glad I did. Had never purchased this brand before but it has proved to be worth every cent and was half the price of others with similar specs.

My first 'wireless' router and I have no complaints. Signal range covers the area nicely. Setup went smoothly.

Like most Asus routers this one was easy to setup and works great! Full featured and stable. Use as access point feature negates the need to manually disable NAT and DHCP which is a handy timesaver. Asus routers have never let me down.

I have no issues with this item, it performs as intended. No problems.

I use this in a 3,000sf two-story house and it is located upstairs. As soon as I get halfway down the stairs, the signal is gone. I had to purchase a second modem line for the downstairs and am using an old Linksys router for that floor, which works fine. I'm guessing there are tweaks I can make in the configuration (I've tried repositioning the antennae to no avail), but there must be something I'm doing wrong because I read other reviewers who are getting much better ranges in larger homes. One thing that really got me off on the wrong foot was calling tech support on the day I installed (a Sunday) and waiting on hold for 2 HOURS only to get a dead line. The User Manual included with the router said tech support was available on Sundays, and when I called the automated message didn't say anything like "We're closed. Call back during business hours." It just went through the usual prompts and made you hold until it finally decided to cut the line. THIS IS A TERRIBLE WAY TO BUILD CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. But they answered right away when I called on Monday. On the positive side, the connection is very reliable and fast.

This router was recommended by Best Buy staff - great for college dorm.

This Asus router came highly recommended because it offers great coverage. I have this router in my basement and it covers the whole house. The firmware is easy to understand and there are 3rd party firmware options for those who are so inclined.

Had a WNDR3400 that kept dropping connections. After research this is the one I went with. Easy to install. Haven't seen the wi-fi connections drop since I started using it. Great product.

I was wary of dropping over 100 dollars on a router but I was tired of having poor internet speeds with my old router. Sure enough, after buying this router I've had speeds well over 100 mbps down so the cost was more than worth it.
