I don't know much about routers but the guy at best buy was very helpful. With the info I gave him he steered me to this. We have a 3,000 sq foot house and we can use it anywhere even out side. We had a different one and it only lasted a year.

Fast. No lag. Haven't had any slow or bad connections with this router.

This router uses three external antennas which can be positioned to give you the best coverage in your home and outside, and it was very easy to set up. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Great unit ito have if your home has multiple laptops desktops and gaming systems. No one gets droped off like with lesser units and no lag times when gaming or streaming. Also you can have your own cloud and stream on the go.Very happy with purchase.

I got this router to replace an old Belkin router. I needed a better connection for online gaming. I chose to go with this Asus instead of a Nighthawk because of the price difference. It works great in my 1300sqft home! Though it was difficult to install at first, I finally figured it out.

Was easy to figure out what I needed. Got a lot of help at the store.

Wanted a decent gaming router that wouldn't break the bank. Fits the bill perfectly, except for 1am. For some reason, if you are connected to the router at 1am, it briefly disconnects from the internet for about 5 minutes, then comes back. I am guessing it is updating itself or something.

Works great for me and grandchildren. We use it in 2 story home.

Good deal for the price, I figured I would have to buy external antennas to get the signal out, but the three original ones were strong enough to broadcast all the way outside to the patio from the front of my house (3k sq ft..) Would recommend.

This seems to be a decent router, but it should provide longer range. I have a lot of concrete walls.

cuts in and out at times other than that much better than my old n900

Easy to setup and use. The app for the router makes it easy and convenient to use with your mobile devices. The settings for the router are easily accessed through the app. I bought an Asus equivalent to the Netgear Wireless N router and returned it to Best Buy within 2 weeks. I purchased this router and I couldn't be more satisfied. I play xbox live wirelessly and have no speed issues with the connection. The Asus router that I had purchased had a lot of problems and I wasn't even able to play and the router is in the same position in the house as this one is now. The beamforming technology that is in this router definitely makes a difference and is a pretty cool feature. The router is a little pricey but if you're going to spend the money it's definitely worth it. I definitely would stick to Netgear over Asus after having both.

Family of 2 boys who always want to be on the Internet would most definitely recommend this product!

I love this product. It was really easy to set up and has a wonderful range. I've installed the same router at my sisters and my place of employment. Connection is strong and consistent.
