Seems like my house needs the directional antennas to get a good signal throughout the house. It's still a little wonky for me to figure out the whole dual bands as I have older items in my network that only work on the 2.4 band but this could just be my non-technical problem and using older equipment. All in all I'm very happy with the router.

This ASUS router hasn't given me any issues since I've bought it and primarily all my connectivity issues are due to Time Warner's iffy service. The price may be a bit high but you definitely get what you pay; a high quality router with some new features like being able to set up external drives as network for all devices in your household to use.
