I needed a Router that supports 5Gbit/2.4Gbit to support a half dozen or so wireless targets. I also wanted USB ports to support both printing and local storage for music/photo/video. While I have not yet implemented the local storage, all other aspects of this device have lived up to my expectations. If I got it at the current price, would;ve given it 5 stars

First router we tried did not work through the walls in our home. This one was a significant improvement.

Claims of insanely good range are a but overblown. It's no better than the old Netgear router it replaced which was also an 802.11n unit. Still, this router is loaded with useful features. My only complaint on this unit is the price is a bit higher than many other similar products.

I've been a fan of ASUS for years, so I was really happy to see them enter the router market. This is probably better than any router I've had thus far. Stronger, faster, and the "OS" within the router itself is robust with features. It's still plug 'n play like the more common brands, but gives you a lot more customization that's easy to access and work with.

Needed a replacement for the ailing wireless on my D-link that had custom firmware. Saw some favorable reviews on the Asus RT-N66R and decided to give it a try. There are 6 heavy video streamers sharing my connection and so far this router has not given me any problems at all. Wireless range seems great and the wireless speed is tons faster than the old router.

We use this at work and it has worked flawlessly since we set it up.

got this to replace older router that was continually dropping signal and needed to be rebooted frequently. since installing Asus router have experienced no issues. dramatic increase in viable signal reception at distance, I'm able to use my system in my garage which is approx. 80' from house . in process of adding a 2T HD for backup and my own cloud.

Absolutely love it in our business! Easy to set up and easy to use!

I would definitely recommend this for use in a family setting.
