not the best, it seems to have am old set up, nut user friendly, takes forever to set it up, i returned it

Overall great product, with an extended range from what I'm used to. The antennae are a little cheap... I have one flimsy antennae of the three. But it was easy to setup and install, and it's range does cover my entire house and patios

We hac been using a router / modem for a while, but we were losing the signal because of too many items "hooked up" to it; two computers, alarm system, three IPhones, and two IPads. This router works very well. No dropped signal. I can go to the backyard and still use my items. Highly recommend it!

After a required session with ASUS technical support on how to set up and get started, I am very pleased how this wireless product works v. several previous Linksys wireless routers. Perhaps because the router is bigger and more expensive it should work better and it does.

Replaced an older router. I am having interference problems in my neighborhood, the 5 Ghz option helps to alleviate this problem. Basically plugged the unit in, accessed and set up the wireless and was using it in less than 15 minutes.

Pulled it from the box and had it up and running in very short order. All the instruction and installation materials are simple and easy to read and easy to use. Setting up the security key was quick and easy. The device has an extremely good range in out house as well.

I would buy another one or recommend to a friend. The phone connection issue seems to be related to not properly recognizing the encryption. Some Windows laptops have the same problem.

The speed of the WI-FI is blazing fast. Before I couldn't play a videogame online the same time my wife needed the Wi-Fi for work. Now we can surf, play, and stream all at the same time. It even has two different signals for even less of a chance of Wi-Fi slow down. This is a great product.

This router has increased my connection speed and signal strength.

We had a perfectly serviceable N router, but it had poor coverage at the opposite end of the house - max 2 bars - usually 1 showing on a laptop. One max on an iPad. This router provides 4 or 5 in the same location! IOW - a very big difference. Well worth the extra $40 or so.

Works better than the cable operators D-Link router!!!

Great router, but ASUS needs to allow the ability to turn off the query for internet connection, not using the router for internet, but rather controlling a Behringer x32 console wirelessly. Thorough settings controls for network control, much deeper than Linksys/Cisco.

The signal did not go as far in my house as the manufacturer seems to suggest it can go

My wifi signal has increased with this unit and being we are an old house the walls are thick. Very secure and I like the fact you can set up restrictions for your guest.

I usually won't pay for a router that costs this much but it's in my basement and I felt that my Netgear N750 router wasn't sending out a strong enough signal. So I shelled out the money and bought almost the "best" one they had. At the store they told me this one was better for getting the signal through floors and metal like my AC ducts running through the floor. It was easy to set up but I see no difference in signal stregth over the $60 cheaper Netgear router I had before it.

We had issues with our old router dropping connections. We run three computers, three tablets, and up to 5 smart phones. Some devices had slow data speeds. Now all devices run smoothly and we're not experiencing difficulties establishing connection nor dropped connection.
