After 7 years my fools old linksys died. I bought the new Cisco / linksys hybrid. Junk. I have uses Asus products for years and I thought I wouldn give it a try. Awesome sauce. Recommended to 4 associats that purchased and loved this router.

I did the recommended firmware upgrade and it killed the router. ASUS customer support is absolutely the worst I've ever encountered. Since the router is out of warrenty I would have to ship it back. No thanks.

My original had a power surge and quit, but I liked this model enough to replace it with the same one and close to half the price 2 years later. I didn't need faster wifi so I didn't buy a newer model. Happy with this one.

We are using this for our coffee shop and it is working very well. One of our friend set it up for us but it didn't seem that hard. Very strong connection haven't had a problem yet.

I've used a number of different routers before, and they all lacked a really strong signal strength, especially when using several devises simultaneously. This Asus, has plenty of bandwidth and I haven't run into any dead zones, also a first.

geek squad out three times, still dropping netflix from my smart tv, cannot hold the connection my old router had. still trying to figure this one out. jury still out on if keeping or not

As a IT guy for several stores I recommend this if you are leasing a Comcast modem. Ditch the modem they supply get a ZOOM modem and this router and you will have faster, wider and more stable wireless that you could have ever thought.

This is a great product that gets the job done when you need it. Plus you can install 3rd party software on it... which keeps me from getting bored as this product just works fine :)

I needed a modem/router combination so had to return this item.

By far the best router for the money. Have tried several other routers none had the speed or range of this monster. Super fast wifi and wired connections. Was running in less than 15 min out of the box. Couldn't ask for a better device.

This router has allowed us to use all of our wireless products no matter what part of the house we are in. With multiple laptops and games it was a purchase we are happy we made.

Needed to replace an aging router, Looked at Asus, linksys and Belkin. The Belkin was the least expensive model, but I had mixed results with Belkin products in the past, was going to go with the Linksys but the Asus happened to be on sale that week so I bought it for the past reviewers comments.

Had a linksys router and with the increasing number if wifi enabled devices, the linksys wasn't handling it. Now everyone using wifi no longer complains about connectivity issues or the wifi being slow. Glad I purchased this

solved a connectivity issue with a new laptop. I was able to set the whole thing up in less than an hour. Have not lost connection once since setup. usually have 2 + devices linked on the wireless at any time. No slowness noted.

This is a great router with tons of features. Exact same unit as the RT-N66U. Up and running for a couple of months. Rock solid, no problems.

My last wireless router(WR), a linksys lasted 4 yrs and needed replacing. I work from home so internet access is vital. With fiber optic no modem is required and my downtime over the last two yeas has been less than 1 hr total. Purchased this based what this WR was touting it could do. Well all it did was drop at least 5-10 times a day for a month sitting 5 ft from the WR. ENOUGH. I took it back and exchanged it for another Linksys. Guess what... three straight days and it hasn't dropped and setup in less than 10 minutes unlike the ASUS. My son had problems with ASUS laptop as well. Will never give that company another dime . I would not even give it 1 star but best buy requires at least one star. What a piece of junk!! Would I recommend this, not just no but HECK NO!!!!

I like this router very much, this replaced my Belkin N600DB. The admin UI is simple to use with powerful features including the ability to set transmitting power. The router has rock solid stable connection and reliablity

As a router is does quite well and as a wireless it has cleared up any dead area issues or strength issues

This router was a replacement for a D-LINK that I had. This wireless coverage was definitely better and everything connects without any issues at all. I wasn't a fan of ASUS routers previously, but this one gets my approval.

The range is not that great and have to reboot at times.
