I finally was able to catch a drop on one of the new gpu's and I finally pick mine up from the store and take it home to find I received a broken gpu. Of how hard these new gpu's are to get and mine was falling apart when I unboxed it was beyond frustrating. The plastic shroud around the fans was falling off and at the time 9f removing it from the box and taking out of the plastic screws was falling off like nothing was tighten down during assembly. I ended up returning it because of this amd wasent able to get a replacement since none are in stock to order so I basically got the worst one possible.

I had an MSI Ventus 3X 3080 which I traded for this card and some cash. While the 3080 obviously has more power, it was hot and loud. I do a mix of gaming and mining. Where the Ventus was 100 Degrees C on the Vram, and the fans sounded like the card was dying from the inside out, this Strix 3070 runs at a breezy 55 Degrees C. This results in my office being much cooler, and the PC is running nearly silent. Gaming is solid, about 20-30% lower frames than the 3080 at 1440p. When cards are more available I'll probably upgrade to a 3080 Strix. But I'm not stressing it. This card is a powerhouse at 1440p, even compared to my old 1080 TI. Strix is simply the best cooling solution, the card is stunning. I've owned about 10 graphics cards over the years and this is the best, I can't recommend it enough. If you don't need every frame possible, I'd recommend this card over lower-end 3080's even (At least the Ventus, the only one I've owned).

The best graphics card I have ever tried. Its temperatures are very low thanks to its three fans. The design is very elegant and the RGB gives a lot of personality to the product. Its construction is of very good quality. Some would think that its 8 GB of VRAM is insufficient, but in practice with that amount of memory the graph performs very well. With full load it is very quiet.

Best 3070 card out there! Easy and quick pick up as always!
