Strix 3070 for ROG Build
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This GPU is a beast! I came from a ROG Strix GTX 1080 and the upgrade is massive, from the cuda cores, to upgraded VRAM, and of course, DLSS/RT performance! The card is also beautiful and just fun to own! One thing though, the left side of the GPU appears to have a small gap between the cooler and the GPU heatsink/plate. Despite this asymmetrical anomaly, the GPU runs cool and never tops 71 degrees celsius. Buy it!

This card looks hawt!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well kudos to Best Buy to at least ensure these weren't easily purchased by bots. I was lucky enough to buy this even after the Tarrif hike its a great card. Overclocked better than my msi gaming x Trio and looks good doing so. This is a premium card for a reason build quality is top notch. Would recommend this to anyone with a little higher budget and wants a card that can be displayed. Down side is at the price your in RTX 3080 territory so if you can get one then definitely go 3080.

||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1440p 120hz~144hz is my desired game settings. Graphics range from med to ultra depending on the setting. This card hits that. DLSS boost that. Re: village seen lows of 56fps but ran all the way to 110. I am pleased with the performance. So the strix model it’s self. A very solid card the metal feel and great rgb lighting. The fans run silent and keeps the card around 54c while gaming

This thing is a beast!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It can take on almost any game with maxed settings and still push 200 fps. It comes with 5 video outputs 2 HDMI and 3 DP making it great for multiple monitors. Giving it another one up on the founders.

Awful quality control
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before even opening the antistatic bag, I could see three screws floating around in the bag. These screws belonged to the fan shroud, which go between the pcb itself and the fan shroud. There was no way to get these back in place without taking the card apart, putting the screws in, and re-pasting, and then testing. Hopefully this isn't common. 2/5 since it does work after this, but this is completely inexcusable on ASUS's end. Only help ASUS offered was to bring the card back to the store for an exchange (yeah like that's going to happen with how hard these cards are to get)

Some coil whine. Overpriced. Really good performan
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a big card with a big cooler, and that keeps temps at a comfortable 60° in a well ventilated case. Runs just about anything @ 1440p well over 100+ FPS, even with ray tracing in the case of Cyberpunk 2077. Runs at about 50 MH/s mining ethereum if you plan to do some part-time mining. Only problems are the following: 1) coil whine. It's not the worst ever but definitely unexpected and unpleasant. 2) this will not fit in a compact case. It's gigantic for a 70 series card. Not a huge problem for me with my case, but something to consider. 3) it costs more than a 3080 Founders Edition. If it's between the two, get the 3080. If it's between this and buying over $1000 secondhand, just buy it here. Also keep in mind it wants 2 separate PCIe power cables. If you use a PSU with two 8 pin connectors on the same cable, it'll give you a power warning LED. It seems to work despite the warning but I didn't benchmark performance both ways before upgrading my PSU. 750+ watt recommended.

Favorite brand for GPUs
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best looking card in the market; it is a big hefty card so if you have a small build it most likely won't fit. Overall good performance and quiet, the RGB looks amazing as well.

Q: QuestionWill this card support a 49 inch Samsung G97T with an Intel i9-9900K 8core 16 thread? How far down the RTX line can I go and still get solid results?
Asked by Building.
- A:Answer This is a new 30 series card. Unless you had some insane setup prior, I think this will bake any cake you want it to. 3080 and 3090 being the only things better out of this series. At this price, it's about 120 bucks over the normal 3070 buts has a very solid overclock system that is beginner friendly.

Q: QuestionIs the rgb on this gpu static or does it rotate? What I mean is if the rgb on the gpu is stuck to one color of choice OR its able to cycle between colors. My mobo is a Asus strix that's rgb cycles, it'd be nice if this gpu could match with it.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You can choose from many different patterns on the GPU and I’d assume on your Mobo as well. Asus makes a software you can download to change the color/pattern. I have the RGB completely turned off on mine.
