    screen flickering issue, as others have reported. aside from that no major issues after 6+ months. screen flickering can be pretty annoying though

    At first, I was really impressed by this computer—the 4K OLED screen is stunning, and the sleek design felt premium. But after using it more, I’ve been deeply disappointed. The laptop shuts down randomly without warning, even after updating all software and drivers. It also refuses to go to sleep properly—the fan keeps running loudly even when all apps and tabs are closed. Now, just three weeks in, the computer completely shut down during an important task and won’t turn back on. I tried to return it, but Best Buy wouldn’t accept it. I feel like I’ve thrown $2,000 straight into the trash. I strongly recommend not buying this computer!!!

      We certainly understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if this laptop will no longer boot up or power on. ASUS is an ISO certified company, as a result, all products go into a strict quality manufacturing standard. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections that ensure each one is trouble-free, and are built to last, this is a random problem. ASUS provides warranty coverage for the product. We recommend you send the product in for service to determine if this is a hardware issue so this may be resolved immediately. An RMA number is required to send it in for service. For RMA details, please go to: https://www.asus.com/us/support/article/818/. However, before sending the laptop in for service, please try to do a power cycle by pressing and holding down the power button to shut it down completely, then power on. If it powers on but still a black screen after a few minutes, at least 10 minutes, please repeat the power cycle process again. If the laptop is applying updates in the System Registry, it will black screen temporarily until the update is applied successfully. Additionally, please try to disconnect the power cable and let the unit drain for 24 hours to clear the memory. This will reset the hardware to default settings. After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter, do not power on the laptop until the battery is charged. If these steps made it to boot up successfully in Windows but still had issues, please try to do a factory reset as a last resort.     I tried to love it but something about the ASUS OLED screens don't sit right with my eyes. I do suffer from migraines so I'm a bit sensitive to some screens. I figured this was DC dimming so it would be great but they have such low PWM that I think that is what did me in. I had to return but someone who isn't sensitive would love this laptop. The speakers are really great, good touchpad/keyboard and light weight!

    ASUS ProArt 16 excellen alternative for Dell XPS

    Excellent product for reasonable price. Very strong contender/replacement for overpriced new Dell XPS with capacitive keys model. This model has all the ports you may need and then some. The only small downsize is the weight of the power supply but with this powerful rig it is to be expected.

    I got this and unfortunately I returned it becoz of so many issues The screen refresh rate is 60hz that is way bad and make the laptop cutting especially on adobe premiere,and the overheating it’s crazy for new laptop,

    I got this device for my mechanical engineering studies next year and I don't think I'll regret it! It fits so much power into a small form factor. It's also very minimalistic, which I love.

    The computer is beautiful fast with a gorgeous OLED screen. I ended up returning it simply because after just a brief use the jet black keys had fingerprints all over them. It would’ve made me crazy. It’s too bad because there aren’t many 16 inch true ultra 4K OLED screens out there.
