Disappointed no 10-key numeric keypad but can add a wireless one. Speedy and thrilled that I have not seen even one notice of "Not Responding." Only had it a short while, but so far, impressed with its performance.

I usually purchase Dell and Lenovo, and usually upgrade my laptop very 2 years. Had a Bestbuy Salesguy recommend this computer. It was on sale so I went for this over a Dell XPS. BIG MISTAKE. Within 2 weeks of using the laptop, it froze while booting up and screen would go black. Took it to Bestbuy and they fixed it. Over the next few weeks, I've had nothing but issues. I can't play videos becuse of some driver issue. Took me a couple of hours to resolve that. Now my Screen capture software isn't working due to a audio error. I've used Snagit for screen capture for 10-years, this is my first ever issue with anything audio related. This computer had really nice specs compared to similar priced laptops but in the end it's not worth it. I don't even notice a faster speed over my Dell XPS that I switched over from. I would stay clear of this laptop.

We do understand your disappointment with this laptop and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiencing issues on it. During the initial Windows setup and updates installations, the laptop will do several system reboots, black screen temporarily or restart during the update process. This merely means updates are being installed and applied in the System Registry. Once the initial setup and WINDOWS Update installation are completed, system speed or performance will be optimized. Keeping the laptop updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. Additionally, ensure drivers, BIOS and applications are up to date besides updating Windows. Drivers for this laptop are posted at: https://www.asus.com/us/laptops/for-creators/proart/proart-p16-h7606/helpdesk_download?model2Name=H7606WV . Furthermore, while accessing web applications, ensure this laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since poor and unstable internet connection will definitely affect system speed and performance. If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. So far I found nothing wrong with it. I am dazzled by the 4k monitor since I watch a lot of YouTube videos. The speed of the laptop is great due to the 32GB memory and the AMD Ryzen chip. I use this laptop at home with it always plugged in, so I have no experience to comment on the baterry life. I am very happy I purchased this product.

Also if not updated it goes slow as a Window XP PC back in days. Other than that I didn't had any other issues.
