This system is quite snappy and the touch screen is very responsive. Only knock on the system is the placement of the power key (left side), which sometimes gets touched/activated accidentally.

Shopping for laptop for college and came across this one from recommendation from friend. Clean, light, and state of the art newest features. Great value for the cost and extremely pleased so far

Great Laptop! Very compact , extremely fast simple

I purchased this laptop for my daughter for Christmas. When we pulled the unit out of the box, it had a 1 inch surface scratch on the lid. It was minor enough that we could live with it but it speaks to the quality of QC by the manufacturer. After we got it set up and my daughter began working with it, performance was lacking. Compared to a side by side download of printer software against my HP laptop in the same class, mine with even less ram downloaded more quickly than this brand new Asus. I verified that no software updates were running on the Asus at the time of download. She has had similar issues since when conducting web searches. This was our third Asus purchase in four years for home use, and generally, Asus has been a decent quality product, so I would still recommend Asus, but I was not impressed with this one right out of the box. Considering a return.

The clarity on the screen of this laptop is fabulous! Although the hard drive failed within three weeks, and we had to send it in for warranty service, everything else about this device worked well for what we wanted - an internet browser, book reader, and some school work in the Microsoft Office suite.

The laptop is very portable, and the hinge makes it easy to use both as a laptop and a tablet. It's fast enough to do everything I need it to do, mainly schoolwork and web browsing.

I bought this laptop to replace an older Asus laptop which work great but stopped chargeing after 3 years. I really like the touch screen and the new features, but after 3 months it runs very slowly. I think it is a Windows 10 problem since I have had the same problem with my Windows 10 on my desktop.

This thirteen inch laptop is lightweight and ideal for travel or doing some work at your local coffee shop. The eight GB ram memory is super fast for cruising through the Internet. On the downside, ASUS should have made the letters, punctuation, and numeric keys more visible on the keyboard.

After about 2 months of use, I'm very satisfied. One reason for the less than perfect rating is the location of the power button (on the left side near the center). Five ports are on the right side. Whenever I plug something in, I automatically put my left hand on the left side to keep the computer from sliding. Many times I have hit the power button in the process. Also, the volume control rocker switch works the opposite of what would be intuitive (for me, at least). The further end is volume down, and the closer is volume up. The screen is sharp and bright. Sound quality is exceptional; better that I expected. This is my first touch screen computer; I'm still not used to that, but that is no fault of the machine. I wanted a laptop that was small enough to travel with easily, but with a screen large enough for looking at photographs. This size is perfect, just a little heavier than I had hoped for. It was on sale when I bought it, and well worth the price.

The power button is in a bad spot. I've accidentally hit it several times while sliding the laptop to the side, forward or backward causing the laptop to power off. Some of the keyboard keys are in different spots than I'm used to. Not sure if I the pin icon feature. Right now I think I prefer the standard desktop icons better, but I can't figure out how to get the pin to stay to the side like it was when I got it so I could see the desktop icons and photo. I like the smaller size. It's not as big and bulky as the larger laptops but easier to see and type than tablets or iPads. I've only used it in tablet, touch screen mode once or twice so I really can't say how I like that feature. I like the magnetic cover closure. It beats having to pull a tab or slide a lever to open or close it.

Love the new laptop. It was a easy to adjust to (after just using a tablet for most of my work). Fast speed. Holds a charge longer than my older laptop. Easy to use.

I bought this laptop not knowing anything about it. I find it very user friendly. I like the fact that I can use it as a tablet or a laptop and it is lightweight.

Love my new computer. Set up took a bit but after all the updates. It was super fast. The touch screen is awsome! I like the fact that it turns into a tablet with ease.

Sale price was good for an i5 processor with 6GB RAM. Traded my old laptop for another $100 off. Not superlite, but feels durable. Fast. Screen resolution is awesome.

I absolutely love my Asus Laptop. It's fast, reliable with true color graphics. The lighted keyboard lets me work all hours of the evening and night without needing extra lighting. No need to spend extra money on a more expensive laptop when Asus has it all.

Works great for online classes, watching video, etc. great value for price with fast processor and excellent storage & memory. Love the touch-screen capabilities.

I bought it for my son for college and he loves it. He loves it because he can use it as a laptop and a tablet and it also moves a lot faster than his old one

There are so many choices, it can be overwhelming. This one is touchscreen, flips over to stand up, and is the perfect size for taking all around with me.

My Dell laptop reached its lifespan after 10 good years of dependability and I was searching for a computer that was easy to carry, lightweight, powerful enough to run a small business, useful for graduate school, met the standards for today's world (notebook & tablet features) and affordable. The ASUS Q304UA Vivobook met all my needs. The HD screen has brilliant colors and clarity for a 13 in screen. Great for watching movies, videos, and playing games. The only flaw was the sensitivity of the screenpad. It had a mind of its own but after taking it to the Geek Squad. I learned how to control the sensitivity for the mouse and now it's working perfectly. The other concern was that product did come with loaded software such MS Office Suite. I was reluctant at first to invest in the ASUS brand but now I'm a raving fan of the brand and product!! Go ASUS and thank you for your innovation.

Love my new Asus computer. Slim and easy to use. I have had 3 Dell laptops in 10 years. This has been the best experience so far. Overall a great purchase.
