Overall the laptop was ok... the biggest issue is the 5400RPM HDD .. we returned it... but.. if you have the knowledge you can swap it out for a Solid State drive and have no issues

use it for college and works great so far me......

i had it for less than two months before i started having software issues. every time there was any systems update, the computer ran extremely slow. it would think 20mins to turn it on, then another 15-20 for the start menu to pop up, and so on. I've had it sent back twice so far, and had to factory reset it half a dozen. NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!! although, i will say that most of the people i know love this brand and the issue itself seems to be with windows 10. also, their costumer service is pretty good.

I have been using this laptop for about two weeks now and it's already slowing down and having boot up issues. had to run some system care software to get it to run decent.

The internet seems slow but could be a connection issue. The computer also shuts off or powers down far too quickly. But the resolution of the screen is great.

I am happy with my computer. I had th geek quad put some programs on my computer and I am pleased with the results.

This was purchased for my teenage grandson. He doesn't have great access to internet so is having some issues, but I'm sure he'll get used to it.

After only about a month, I've had to carry the laptop back to the store, because I couldn't get it to come on. The store would not replace it.

As a phd student, I've used several Dell, Hp, And ASUS laptops in the last 10 years. My previous ASUS laptop was functioning great, So I trusted ASUS to buy a new one. This Q504 laptop's performance was a disaster from beginning unlike its beautiful look. It was very slow when I opened two or more Apps like Office and Matlab simultaneously. After only six months from the buying date, its battery suddenly stopped working, and I couldn't use it at all, while I was working on several research projects and I had all my important data on it. I could even lose my job because of this incident. after calling ASUS customer service, they said I have to send it to ASUS repair center in Texas as they didn't have any local customer service center in new jersey to fix it. Its more than 10 days from that time and I didn't receive my laptop still. For a phd student that his laptop is his life, it was a big disaster for me. It put me under so much pressure, and I won't suggest anyone to buy this useless laptop as its completely UNRELIABLE. It was my biggest mistake in buying electronic devices ever, and its my first time I had to return a product for repair because of hardware issue.

The one thing I am disappointed with is that the speakers are on the bottom of the laptop.

I think the hard drive is failing. It sounds like a needle on an old record. Skipping.

Cannot see keys. Awful trying to type. I need to see the keys and can't. Ready to handwriting the letters on the keys and the case is not durable at all. It's already all scratched up and I don't take it out of the house. It's awful and a very bad purchase. Windows 10 is very time consuming at the very best and I hate it.

Stopped working within minutes of first use while only beginning to register it. Had to send it off to company for repair. Don't have it back yet to give further review of product. Not satisfied with their return policy and if I hadn't paid extra for geek squad insurance I would have had to pay for repair myself.
