I'm sad to say that this computer was nothing but a disappointment. I did my research before buying this computer and got many opinions and it was supposed to be a really good computer, especially being an asus. I'm sad to say that not even a month after purchasing it mine crashed and I had to bring it in and was told I just got the bad egg. Being understanding I traded it out for a new one and not even 10 days later that one crashed and before that it kept disconnecting from the wireless adapter. I don't know what the problem is but needless to say I returned it and got a full refund.

Great help and assistance at Best buy however not 100% pleased with purchase due to slow speed of computer.

Overall it seems to be a quality computer. The keyboard requires a lot of pressure to type.

The computer is not the fastest and the site lags sometimes when multiple tabs are open.

Very basic computer. Meets the needs of a normal family; netflixs internet word etc.

This computer is so far good, there few problems like heat out too early and others

Asus laptops are apparently known for having a very poor network adapter card. I have two laptops operating side by side. The cheap laptop connects very strongly. The Asus does not connect or connects with a very weak signal. Not a recommended laptop from my experience.

We purchased this laptop the summer of 2016. The hard drive has crashed twice. The first crash occurred within 9 months of purchase. Today (1-14-18) it crashed again. Wish we bought something else.

Good computer but has hardware issue. Must send back.

Had it for two weeks before it crashed. Then the next one for ten days. Kind of hard to say something is good when you can't even use it to fill out the review for the product you are reviewing. Ironic?

We were talked into this laptop by bestbuy rep. But it has not been a good choice from the start. We get online more on our phones than our laptop. It also doesn't have disc drive. Which we hate. Go with your first instinct.

I love it! I first purchased a lower end HP but returned it because it did not have Full hd and the sound was terrible. I decided to spend a little more and get what I wanted. I did a Lot of research. I compared all of the laptops for 2 weeks and this one had most of the features I wanted and the best reviews. I have had it for 6 days and I haven't had any issues. The HD screen is so vivid. The touchscreen is very responsive. The sound is great. I also like the 2 in 1 feature. The hinges for the tablet feature are very sturdy. It has plenty of power and storage. It has a silver keyboard that lights up. It's very pretty. I wanted a dvd. I wish it had one but I purchased an external dvd drive so now I have everything I want. Best Buy-I was wrongly told by the salesman that this computer didn't qualify for the student discount. I noticed this computer's sku listed after purchasing it 6 days prior. I went back into best buy and they promised to make it right. They gave me a refund for the 150 plus tax. Great customer service!

BEGINNING WITHIN THE FIRST 2-3 WEEKS OF USING THE LAPTOP, A LOUD VIBRATING SOUND WOULD RATTLE THE LAPTOP EVERY FEW HOURS. I CAME TO DISCOVER THAT THIS WAS DUE TO A SIGNIFICANT MANUFACTURING DEFECT WITH THEIR COOLING FANS. I MAINTAINED A CLEAN WORKSPACE FOR THE LAPTOP AND DID NOT USE FOR ANY GAMING OR VIDEO EDITING, BUT THE LAPTOP OFFICIALLY 'BRICKED' BY THE SIXTH MONTH. I WAS NOT GOING TO SPEND HALF OF MY ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE TO POTENTIALLY FIX THE MACHINE. A MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT THAT WILL AFFECT MY FUTURE LAPTOP PURCHASES FOR HOME AND BUSINESS.

This laptop has a 5400 RPM hard drive.. that is really slow. It literally took 6 minutes to boot. Do not buy this.

Returned for another only for it to also have a bad hard drive

This was terrible. It took forever to start up and load. Incredibly slow. The store couldn't even get it to work right. Returned it.

This laptop was ideal for me, being a college student. I needed something that would not only get me through school, but also fit my needs in terms of storage. I take LOTS of pictures. I have only had this laptop for a couple days but so far, I couldn't be happier. I needed the amount of storage this machine has, without breaking the bank. I was lucky that even with all the extra things I needed to buy [warranty, Microsoft office] it was still under my price point. I even received $150 off for being a student!! Its perfectly fast, though I imagine it would be a bit faster with a SSD. Tablet mode wasn't a big selling point for me, I didn't think I would get much use out of it... I was wrong. I love the tablet mode and unlike other reviews I've seen, I haven't had a single issue with the keys not turning off when they are supposed to. The large keyboard was a big plus(there is a separate number pad), as well us the keys being back lit. Sometimes I work on my computer and sit in my son's room while he is trying to fall asleep so the back lighting was essential. I have used it outside.. there is a bit of glare, but the display is still bright enough to see. The build quality perfectly meets my expectations. Thin and light for it's size, but very sturdy. No fingerprints can be seen. I realize this is only after a couple days. If my opinions change, I'll write another review.

This must of been the worst laptops that i ever bought.. I had to return it not once, twice but three times.. Every single one had an issue if its own. 2 of them didn't know if it was a laptop or tablet and the 3rd one the sound was no good.. I would never even try to buy an Asus ever Again!!! I bought a Macbook Air Instead a 13' for 750$.. Go and do yourself a favor and just buy it..
