This computer is an all in one package with 12 GB RAM, 1 TB hard drive, and it's a TOUCH SCREEN! I love this thing! Especially since it has a number pad, a back lit keyboard, and Bluetooth! Couldn't ask for more in such a well priced package. I of course saved $100 buying this at $699, which is about where I'd put it compared to all the other 2-in-1 touchscreen laptops.

I have only had the laptop for 3 days, but i am extremely pleased with this one. I wanted win10, a 15.6" display so i can do real work, light weight yet strong. Real ports not the micro ports and having to fiddle with adapter cables. plus i5 performance and HDMI port for a second monitor and a solid keyboard, this one had it all. the screen and audio are excellent, bright and loud. the only area for improvement was the storage so i pop in a 2.5" SSD drive. you need the special star tool, but they sell that at bestbuy too. lucky me i had a 1TB SSD laying around at work. so in the end, i got an amazing laptop, excellent quality build, light weight and super fast internet that should have cost well over $1000. also it's an ultralight 2:1 with touch. the touch is handy to navigate win10. so don't walk run over to bestbuy and pick this one up. nothing else compares. and if your a student, you will get $150 off so you can pick up an SSD drive.

I’m pretty happy with this notebook. My sister brought it to me some days ago and after trying it I can say that the quality is very good, the screen is gorgeous. It works perfectly for me and my needs. I had read a lot before I decided to buy an Asus and it was the best decision I have made. I strongly recommend this laptop to normal users who need a good multitasking notebook for a good price.

I've owned many laptops and Asus is by far my favorite brand. This laptop is no different, and has lived up to all of my expectations. The display on this laptop is amazing. The only thing I would change is the graphics card. Although this is not a gaming laptop, much more would be supported with a higher quality graphics card. Great laptop for multi-tasking. Highly recommended.

I would agree with most reviews that in tablet mode the desktop and mouspad is still on. However maybe they will fix it through an update. Also after playing video for an hour the bottom did get hot. Im not a big fan of the keyboard but this could be my personal preferenec. It does not have that wow factor you get from a premium laptop. Its okay but i dont think its worth $800. I got mines on sale for 530 and at that price its good but still not great. Other than the above the laptop ran smoothely and had no problems using it. Battery seems to last 6 hours and i am a heavy user.

I underestimated Asus. I was ignorant to the brand. I figured it was it was a low end laptop. I've always stuck with what I thought was the top three (Dell, HP, and Toshiba). I stand corrected. The price was in line with the specs of the laptop. You really do get what you pay for. The Laptop is quality made and great for the rugged life of a college student. It will get my son through college and years beyond.

The ASUS was easy to set up and does the job for me. I mostly work with photos using Photoshop Elements and edit audio with Sony Sound Forge. Both applications work just fine, as does the database FilemakerPro.

I looked at so many 2 in 1's and this was the best as far as overall options. It is an amazing computer I love the keyboard the display the sound the picture all of it I think the solid aluminum shell is awesome and very tough feeling. It has everything I wanted and more and wasn't too hard on my wallet. I liked the hp 360 the Lenovo yoga but this one at 699 can stand up to the more expensive 899-999 computers I'm sure. If you're thinking about buying it, DO IT! To be honest I returned it because I thought it was too big ended up with a Lenovo yoga 710 that actually had software issues out of the box so i returned it and ended up with my ASUS Q504UA... I'm glad I have it back... I like the screen size now...

The product itself is good, only complaint I have is that my "A" key isn't secure but it's only a minor annoyance. I love the chrome hinge and 1TB hard drive, the display is crisp and very clear, and the side key pad is handy. Windows 10 on the other hand leaves much to be desired. A default service within the operating system (Superfecth) caused the device to be extremely slow and lag to the point where the device was almost useless. With a lot of patience, I disabled the service and the device ran great.

I just snapped this laptop up for $530.00. A few weeks ago I signed up for College Deals through Best Buy. They sent me some coupons I thought I'd never use, until today. Went to check out this laptop on sale for $670.00, college deals had a coupon to save another $150. You will not get a better laptop for a lower price ever. Buy this now. All metal body, backlit keyboard, I5 processor, 12 gbs ram, 1 tb storage, 3 usb 3.0, wireless AC, bluetooth, fully convertible to tablet with touchscreen. I challenge you to find a better deal, sign up for college deals and buy it now. $530.00 This is my second Asus laptop, they work flawlessly and never have issues.

so i really wanted to like this laptop. has all the things im looking for...backlit kb,2 in 1..etc etc. but this thing locked up twice on my and runs slow. why they put a 5400 rpm hard drive in this thing is beyond me. all it needs is a ssd and this would be a great laptop. as it sits now...its going back.

The build quality and look of this laptop is great but the performance is pretty substandard. Takes forever to boot, loading webpages can strain it at times, especially if you have more than one tab open. "Good for college" doesn't apply here when you're paying more than $300 and getting this kind of shoddy performance. My battery also seemed to be defective in that it wouldn't hold a charge doing almost nothing for more than an hour. Also of critical note is that this laptop uses special screws so you can't easily replace the battery, the hard drive (which is slow as molasses), or the memory. A macbook copy that is lesser in every way.

Love this laptop! Has such a sleek look to it and so far no problems at all. Perfect for everything I needed in a laptop and can't wait to learn everything it can do! Love the backlit keyboard and just overall look.

I love this laptop! looking at the negative reviews the only thing I can say is that in the last update many of the issues listed were fixed. I also absolutely love the sleek finish. Being an engineering student there are many heavy programs that I'll need to install , and this laptop seems to be the perfect fit for me. Well deserved 5 stars!

I bought this laptop for college coursework. I am very thrilled that I have been able to play all my steam games with it (some with graphics lower than my desktop but they still run smoothly). It was a huge bonus.

I purchased this one for my son who is in his first year college, he found it good and easy to setup. We were hoping to get 14" screen but this product was not available in that size.
