    ASUS is apparently a good brand. No matter who I asked, it was always one of the top three in their list. I had three objections: The speakers were not built-in, but in a cable-connected stand-alone small tower. The earphone port was smaller than standard, so it was impossible to connect typical external speakers. There was no DVD drive.
