Let me get what I'm not a fan of out of the way really quick. I wish they put a QHD screen in here because no matter what anyone says, I can see the difference in clarity between a FHD and QHD scree. I also with this laptop was a little less plasticy. But the overall built quality of this laptop is pretty fantastic! The slimness and portability coupled with the pretty good key travel on the keyboard. And the fact that they got a 3050ti in this tiny portable machine is fantastic! And in addition having the ability to attach ASUS's eGPU to it to maximize gaming performance makes this a fantastic buy.. it you can get over some small inconveniences.

(RECOMMENDED SETTINGS) This one was close to be a low score rating, but i can share my experiences with this device as it having issues on windows 11 before, but it gotton better. So first off, its a great absolute beast laptop. Great tested game for it to share from the lastest new entire next gen game Resident evil 4 remake. So for a 120hrz laptop. It is recommend to play at 60hrz, 120hrz will shred the cpu battery and will not uphold charge. I took hours to figure out whats wrong with it falling down to 24% and lower. So doing 60 will give you greater experience with lower tempts. The external rog Xgmobile is built for 12hrz so keep that in mind. Onto Re4 1080p + hair strands off with FSR performance at 2gb texture gives great gaming experience the machine can do. However re4 does not work with Ray tracing for this machine. However for hair strands on, texture has to be lower. To medium. Which isn't bad. The game uphold charge well. Devil may cry 5 also has no problem running at ultra max settings at 1080p + 100% resolution sharpness and of course 60hrz only and it holds up charge greatly. I thinks is much all to say since its a gaming lap top. I hope this will help for buyers for my review! So they connot be fooled by lower review scores from others that didn't use this device properly shredding its life to 0% battery. Poor thing.

This expensive computer overheated and within a matter of minutes it was done, wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone else; I was told by a Best Buy Representative that that was the 5 th one returned and that another one burned someone. This product should no longer be on the market

Has a lot of potential, but the device doesn’t work very well. HDMI totally borked. Tried it with an XG Mobile: failed to work correctly with HDMI or DP. Not worth it.

The performance on this thing for the price is good although you can get a laptop with a more powerful 4050 for around the same price on sale. Still, Asus has good build quality here with a aolid keyboard.

The idea behind this device is great on paper. Ultra portable, enough power for more demanding tasks, 2 in 1 form factor, all packaged in a sleek design. Upon closer look this device has been more trouble than it's been worth. To preface, I used to an older 2 in 1 notebook from Asus that was released in 2014 and served me well for at least 6 years. In that time I had zero issues, never even had to replace the battery on it. So when it came time to finally upgrade I naturally took the opportunity to stay within the same device brand. Now on to why this particular Flow X13 Model is not worth it. I've had my Flow X13 for about two years. The first year I had absolutely zero issues, it ran as advertised save for the noticeable ghosting on the display. About a month after the warranty expired the device's battery died with no issues prior. It took me a while to figure out because I found it hard to believe that a higher end device's battery would die so soon. Ended up ordered a 3rd party battery on amazon and it had started working as normal. About 8 months later, the keyboard stopped functioning and no amount of troubleshooting solved the issue. I even took it to a repair shop only to be told to use an external keyboard instead. Around the time I kept having issues with drivers failing, and even a windows reset failing too. And now I'm having to deal with a second case of a dead battery. It must be hardware/software issues that caused the dead batteries because it'd be the 2nd battery to fail suddenly. Overall avoid this model specifically and if you decide to still buy Asus make sure to extend your warranty.

An incredible hybrid of work and play

I am a computer engineering student, and also a gamer - this laptop fills both of those uses. My workloads consist of compiling code, taking notes with my surface pen, and reading. The OS is snappy, and the screen is bright; no complaints for productivity. On the flip side, when it comes to gaming the 3050Ti is plenty enough for my favorite indie titles. I play Slay the Spire and Valheim on this machine, both tun flawlessly, and Slay the Spire doesnt even need the dGPU. I love it because i can sit with my family and not hide at my desk. The fans are not irritating and the frame is so portable that i can play basically anywhere. Overall this is the best large investment I’ve made in a while and I absolutely recommend it.

Lightweight and durable. It's very fun to type on and has lots of space. It works good for the types of games I play... been obsessed with Baulder's Gate 3 like the rest of the world right now. Over all have been loving it (the laptop).

Good until you need a new charger

Honestly, this would be a five star review because for the first 7 months the laptop was amazing. But the charger failed at month 7. No big deal, right? Buy a new charger! Oh turns out ASUS doesnt sell the charger, it isnt in stock and there is no update on when it will be in stock. Thats okay, its USBC. Buy a 3rd party charger! Oh turns out that ASUS uses very proprietary technology that will make your laptop unusably slow if you use a 3rd party charger. So now im stuck with a laptop that runs as fast as a 2008 laptop because of terrible charger design and manufacturing logistics.

First one i bought the touch screen was super glitchy, returned under warranty and got a new one. The new one crashed about a year and a half after, just out of warranty. Turns out the motherboard crashed and asus quoted me on a 1300 dollar repair. I figured i wont waste my money on it and just get an xbox. If you also have this problem please report it to asus. This is how they determine if a recall is needed
