Powerful but not perfect
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this laptop for two months now. I got a great deal around Black Friday. It has a lot of power for the form factor. I can run Stable Diffusion on it and get decent performance once optimized for the 4gb graphics card (haven't tried it with the optional external GPU). However, it gets hot and fans are noticeable even when in balanced mode. Unfortunately, it has a couple of driver issues updates haven't resolved yet. For one, it rarely wakes from sleep mode. I disabled sleep mode and use hibernate instead, which has resolved this issue for me, but if you have a strong preference for sleep mode, consider another model. I've also noticed that if I leave my external monitor plugged into the HDMI port when I restart the laptop, it breaks the brightness settings, as in the brightness controls no longer work from the function keys or the display settings. I have to unplug the HDMI cable, reboot, and then plug the monitor back in once the laptop has finished rebooting, then the brightness controls work. I almost returned it, but decided that, for the deal I got, I could live with the hibernation mode and unplug the monitor when I occasionally reboot. This form factor and weight is perfect for tossing in my backpack and yet has enough power to handle my needs as a hobbyist artist, designer, and music producer on-the-go. But it isn't perfect, so keep that in mind.

Great power, compact size, perfect laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The AUS ROG X13 has been a very good laptop. In my opinion, it is the only laptop that you can get that provides excellent performance, portability, and productivity. The main reason I got this laptop was for its touchscreen so that I can take notes in college, while also being able to do advanced CAD and computer science tasks. So far it has excelled in all aspects. Since my home PC tower has only a GTX1650 Ultra in it, I made a docking station so that I can use the X13's GTX3050TI (although laptop edition) instead, since it is more powerful. It can drive my 180Hz gaming monitor at around 120 fps in games such as Apex Legends using its HDMI 2.1 out port. All in all, the portability and power this tiny laptop holds is astounding. While the 3050 Ti 4G may be a little underpowered for a modern $1k laptop, this one excels in many places and more than makes up for it. Definitely recommend this product!

Asus rog flow g13
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the laptop for school because I wanted something small that could also work for some casual gaming. The build quality is really good I don’t get worried tossing it in my backpack. During normal everyday use the fans never run, but when gaming “I only really do some casual gaming” they can get a little loud but that is to be expected with a 13 inch laptop. Battery life is also good had it around half brightness with 10 tabs going with YouTube in the background and it lasted about 8 hours.

Good for the deal price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had an issue with Steam overloading the integrated graphics causing a pink screen crash, but solved by disabling GPU accelerated rendering in the Interface settings of Steam. Steam didn't automatically use the dedicated card for web views, but this solves that issue. Heats up pretty quickly, although normal for gaming laptops apparently. A bit of buffer lag when I connect the charger when on low battery, but otherwise played Battlefront and No Man's Sky fine on high graphics.

Nobody else even comes close!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolute best 13" gaming laptop that money can buy..... I'm overly impressed with this AMD processor (Intel guy here) and the power consumption + heat management are insanely out of this world....The RTX 3050ti handles anything I have been able to throw at it with room to spare. This thing is lightweight, powerful, and very portable. Hats off to Asus for knocking it out of the park with the Rog Flow x13!!!

Great power for small form factor.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is on par with my tower pc, slim design packed with a ton of power super mobile too. Any AAA game i threw at it it performed with the charger plugged in of course. If you travel for work a lot or even need a powerful rig for 3D modeling this laptop wont let you down.

The Swiss knife of laptops
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this laptop on an open box deal. Great laptop for the price. I’m a video producer and ocasional gamer, and this checks all the boxes with performance and ease of use. I also purchased a compatible pen and it has been really fun to use on tablet mode. Something to take in consideration, this laptop can also be upgraded with the optional XG mobile for a monumental boost in performance.

5/5 Great laptop if they fixed the BIOs issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recommend this laptop but with some caveats. I have had this laptop for a little over a year and use it as my primary gaming and productivity machine. The pros: Build quality is amazing. Performance is exceptional for the size. Screen is bright and pixel perfect. Tent mode. Asus customization software. Being able to disable the graphics card means getting an extra few hours away from the wall or silent fans when you want it. Cons: Will run out of battery if playing power hungry games even while pugged in. Tested with Far Cry 5. Loud fans (buy some headphones) Asus bios and driver issues. I took 2 stars off just for the bios issues. Three times in the last year that I've owned this machine all the USBs stopped working and the laptop wouldn't charge. I found out all I needed to do was reset the BIOs, but not everyone is going to know or want to do that. Before I found out about the BIOs issue I just assumed my laptop was dead.

Q: QuestionASUS only displays a 32GB memory for the 2022 version. Is this truly 16GB RAM? or is the information stated her wrong and this is actually the 32GB model. Really want to purchase the 32GB RAM version.

Q: QuestionASUS lists this as having 32gb of memory. Is this actually 16gb and will Best Buy have the larger memory version?
Asked by Max.
- A:Answer This model has 16GB of DDR5 system RAM. I suspect there will not be a standalone 32GB model, as last year saw only one version of the standalone Rog Flow X13. It is possible that a XG Mobile bundle version could come out with 32GB of RAM, however.

- A:Answer No, this specific laptop doesn't comw with an external XG Mobile GPU dock, it needs to be purchased separately.

Q: QuestionDoes it have a digitizer (i.e. active stylus support)?
Asked by chriek.
- A:Answer It doesn't come with a stylus, but I purchased the Wacom Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus for Windows and it works perfectly. Purchased the ROG and stylus as a gift for my daughter and she loves it!

Q: QuestionWhy is it says Ryzen 5000 serious and R9 6900 at the same time? Is this the 2022 model? Also if it is, asus website said its 32g ram, it that also mislabel?
Asked by Ark.
- A:Answer This is the 2022 Model with the faster 6900HS processor, even faster DDR5 Memory, a MUX switch, and a 500 nit screen. Worth the difference in price if you as me but the 2020 model at 1249 on sale is not bad either.
