Lenovo - Legion 7i 16" 2.5k OLED Gaming Laptop - Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX 2025 - 32GB RAM - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 - 1TB SSD - Glacier White

I’ve been using the Lenovo Legion 7i 16” (2025) with the Core Ultra 9 275HX, RTX 5070, 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD for a short time now, and overall I’m very happy with it. Performance is excellent. Everything feels fast and smooth, and gaming performance is exactly what I expected from this hardware. I’ve been playing Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and while the fans do get loud under load, I actually like that sound—it feels reassuring and shows the cooling system is doing its job. The display is beautiful. The 2.5K OLED panel looks amazing with deep blacks, vibrant colors, and great brightness. The keyboard is also very good—comfortable to type on and well-suited for both work and gaming. Build quality feels premium, and the Glacier White color looks great in person. A few downsides: Battery life is not great, especially compared to my previous MacBook Air. This is expected for a high-performance gaming laptop, but it’s worth noting. The inbuilt sound is disappointing. I wish it had a built-in LAN (Ethernet) port. Having to rely on a dongle is a bit inconvenient. That said, these are minor compromises for a laptop with this level of performance. Considering the discount I got, this feels like an excellent deal, and overall I think it’s an outstanding laptop for the price. Highly recommended if you want strong performance, a great display, and premium build quality.

I bought the Lenovo Legion 7i mainly for gaming, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. Games run incredibly smooth on high and ultra settings, and the RTX 5070 combined with the Ultra 9 processor makes everything feel fast and responsive. Loading times are quick and multitasking while gaming or streaming is no problem at all. The OLED display is amazing — colors really pop and dark scenes look fantastic. It makes a huge difference not only in games but also when watching movies or browsing. The Glacier White design also looks clean and premium without being overly flashy. Cooling has been solid during long gaming sessions, although the fans do get noticeable under heavy load, which is pretty normal for a powerful gaming laptop like this. The only downside is battery life. It drains fairly quickly when gaming, so this laptop definitely performs best while plugged in. That said, the performance you get easily makes up for it. Overall, this feels like a true desktop replacement that you can still move around when needed. Quick Personal Review: It's a Everything Machine An absolute powerhouse for gaming,editing, and everything else(movies,facetime,work) ​I’ve been putting this laptop through its paces for a while now (February 2026 Use it daily sometimes for hours), and it’s honestly an absolute beast.I bought it to handle a mix of high end gaming (Battlefield 6, Call of duty,Crimson Desert)and heavy video editing (4k and 8k 360 videos) and it hasn't let me down once. ​What I like:Insane Speed & Power: The CPU and GPU combo For ME is incredible. It handles intense gaming with high stable frame rates(everything is default im not en expert), it breezes right through 4K-8k video editing without breaking a sweat. Flawless Display:The screen looks beautiful.It makes watching YouTube videos and movies look incredibly crisp,(Amazing) and the color accuracy is awesome for editing projects. ​Great for Video Calls: The built-in webcam and mic work perfectly.I use it for video calls all the time,and the picture quality is sharp and clear. ​Solid Specs: It has all the RAM and fast storage power you Need for these projects! ​The only catch: ​Like any highend laptop with this much power Bttery lasts 4-6 hours (I mainly keep plugged in) ​Overall, if you want a fast, multi-purpose machine that won't stutter when things get intense, this is easily a 5/5.

This laptop has been a massive upgrade coming from an Asus Tuf F15. While the build isn't quite as hefty/solid as the Tuf, the hardware makes it worth it. The white color is beautiful, and really makes the RGB lighting pop. It's really a stunning looking laptop all around. Luckily, looks is not all this laptop is about, as it's got the hardware to back it up too. This has been the perfect laptop for the traveling gamer; it runs Fortnite like a champ but also AAA shooters too, without sounding like it's going to personally pilot a B52 jet (poor Tuf). I haven't experienced any FPS drops at all playing games I like, even Oblivion Remastered on medium settings. Does it get hot? Well, yeah, it does get super hot, but that's pretty much a given with heavy gaming usage on any laptop, it is what it is. Just make sure to invest in a solid laptop gaming fan so you don't have to worry about FPS tanking. The battery life isn't the best unplugged, but again, pretty much a given for heavy gaming. If you game heavily, keep it plugged in. For daily tasks/work it does work solidly with great battery life. The screen is AMAZING. Freaking gorgeous. The colors pop, and honestly I want this on a huge screen, it's SO good. Would I recommend it? Yes, spoken as someone who mainly uses a laptop as a desktop, but does occasionally travel and games, yes I definitely would. It's both attractive (black gets SO boring) and works like a total champ, even if it does get a little roasty; it's a laptop, what do you expect?

I purchased this laptop to replace my desktop that couldn’t upgrade to windows 11. The performance of this machine is absolutely night and day. I game, stream, and edit videos as some of my heavier tasks and my desktop was able to run these programs okay. They had to be on the lowest settings possible to run smoothly. With this laptop, everything is running on Highest settings and flawlessly at that. My biggest games are Overwatch 2, Anno 1800, and Hoyoverse titles. After some adjustments in the system settings (making sure the games were running on the dGPU instead of hybrid, etc) every title is running perfectly. You can set up and be playing in minutes. The OLED display is beautiful. It’s capable of HDR but I honestly prefer the OLED for gaming. It has a decent battery life. I don’t game while unplugged but while I’m unplugged just browsing or using discord, it lasts plenty long enough for me. I have not fully tested this yet however. I was upgrading from a GTX 1060, and I can tell the difference drastically. In FPS games, suddenly it makes sense how other people could use snipers and I couldn’t. The frames are just that much smoother, that much easier to work with. I was nervous to drop this kind of money on a laptop with how much gripe they get, but I have zero regrets. This thing is better than my desktop ever was, even 6 years ago. I have yet to run into an issue it can’t handle. It’s lighter than I thought it’d be too. Maybe slightly heavier than my old MacBook Pro? But not enough to be noticeable by any means. I am very pleased with this purchase and if you’re also on the fence about a laptop in this price range, I say go for it.
