With that said it has too many flaws to be used as a tablet properly. As you can probably tell, that's a bit excessive, but I've deployed them for our office as they're not only really portable but also pack a punch in such a small form factor. I'm the only one with the XG Mobile to sneak a game or two between work sessions, but don't tell the rest!

Has barely gotten any use due to its technical problems. Keyboard first gave out. Had to find replacement parts on eBay as parts aren’t made by Asus for replacement. Had a sensor issue for screen orientation which faulted. Took to Geek Squad for repair. I’m going back to them on Monday as I haven’t gotten much time at all with it since initial repair with a new motherboard and found that the main USB for charging is faulty and not working. Just sheer disappointment from ASUS.

I was not impressed with the framerate that this machine produced on games. I had to turn the resolution down to make non AAA games playable. Great as a tablet though. Little heavy.

Keyboard dont work

The touch pad is super slow. I dont want to return the whole thing but i would like a replacement keyboard that work please

Otherwise I use this more for productivity vs gaming and it shreds through everything I throw at it like photoshop and after effects. took down a star for the high msrp.

This is a 13” laptop with real horsepower!

It’s a Microsoft Surface laptop on double steroids!! It plays all of the games I like. It has an incredible design and removable keyboard. It has a small window with RGB lighting on the backside. It handles Microsoft Office no sweat and without the fans coming on. I’ve watched YouTube videos for hours and the fans never came on. It’s light and easy to carry everywhere. If you want a 13” laptop with REAL horsepower, this is th one for you. I love it!

I was excited to get it but then i noticed the keyboard lighting was glitchy and would turn off randomly and then i would have to adjust the lighting on the keyboard to make it appear and then go into Armoury crate and do some fixing, But that didnt work either so i had to do all the downloads and updates for all Windows and Asus software and it still didnt fix this issue. For now i am giving this a 3 stars at best because of this and will write another review after i have more time with the system.

Battery life is terrible. For the price, that’s unacceptable. Maybe 3-4 hours max, that’s not gaming just doing basic web browsing and a few YouTube videos. In terms of gaming plugged in is the only option, but when it’s plugged in you can run AAA games at around 30fps or more after tweaking settings. If they somehow improve the battery life I would buy that new version in a heartbeat. However, in its current state, you wouldn’t be able to go very far with mount your charger which in my opinion defeats the purpose of having a tablet. I returned it and got a 14” gaming laptop with a better GPU for $400 less.

defective keyboard
