I like this laptop alot and I got it on sale open box for $600

This laptop is great for working/schoolwork and also gaming. When plugged in it barely gets hot, and it runs super smoothly all the time. Super happy with this purchase for the price. Only thing I wished it had was per-key customizable RGB but that’s just a random little thing, the performance and style of the computer are amazing.

This is an excellent, powerful laptop which I was able to get at a good price. Video quality is fantastic and the 8 core I7 is super fast. The quality of the parts is very good and the laptop has an excellent fit and finish 'feel' to it. Delivery from Best Buy was exactly as promised.

I have never been a gamer, however I have always loved MS Flight Sim. I decided that I wanted a quality system to run MSFS. After some research and talking with friends who are gamers, I landed on this laptop. It is super fast, crystal clear, and runs MSFS like a dream.

Definitely nice laptop. The one major issue is the heat. My laptop could get hot from the most simple task. You can change the cpu behavior but it's complicated. It's still a good laptop though

Good display, butnot so much battery life. Better than the i9 model for battery life, but not as much power. This needs a ryzen cpu to make it a good purchase.

It’s mostly minimal with enough gamer aesthetic to keep it interesting. The black matte finish looks and feels nice, but does show a lot of finger smudges, especially on the track pad. The keyboard is RGB, nice and bright. On the top, there’s dedicated volume buttons, a button for Armory Crate (settings for fan control, RGB, display, etc), and a power/fingerprint reader. Along the sides of the keyboard are the speakers. There’s plenty of connections, with 2 USB 3, 2 USB C, headphone jack, ethernet, HDMI, and a micro SD card reader. The bottom is elevated for better airflow. Battery life With daily activities, the battery will last about 4 hours and a bit more so if power saver settings are turned on. While gaming, it would last about 2 hours or less, depending on the demand. Display The display is 16:10 144 Hz and looks great. It is vivid, bright, and has a good viewing angle. Gaming on this was a smooth experience. Sound The speakers are good, especially for a laptop. They are next to the keyboard and the sound is pointed directly at you. It can get loud without distortion. It does have built in Atmos, but don’t expect too much of a difference. Performance Gaming performance was overall good, but can run hot, more so when plugged in. The top of the keyboard can get very hot, and the heat will radiate to halfway down the keyboard. The internal temperatures are reasonable, usually sitting in the mid 70s. The trackpad is a bit stiff to press down on and sometimes doesn’t register a click unless it’s pressed hard. It’s also matte so it shows all the smudges and oil. The storage is small at only 500 GB. Not great if you’re playing a lot of the bigger titles. Conclusion I’ve been using this laptop for a few weeks now and I’ve been generally happy with it. It looks cool, the display is great, and the speaker sounds pretty good. The battery life is normal for a gaming laptop, ranging between 2 to 4 hours depending on use. The biggest negative is the heat. While the internal temperatures are within normal, the hot chassis can make it uncomfortable to use.

This is a very nice laptop I use it for travel and I like to game on my down time. Plays anything I load on it Call of duty, forza 5, F1 2021 It’s not the fastest but plays smooth very enjoyable I would recommend this to everyone.

Good laptop had it for 2 years and still going strong

Laptop was in good condition but not the battery. Battery life was low. So I had to return it back to store

It's very good for gaming and It will get a lot of things done. Battery life is not that good, but I keep it plugged in most of the time. Although you should be advised to not buy if you hate fingerprints!

Better than the 3070 series. Compare this to the higher spec line of ROG. This laptop run way more stable and not over heat like the Ryzen 9 + 3070 and 3080 laptop of this series

Bought this laptop to double as a workstation for my girlfriend and I, as well as something powerful enough to play video games in 144fps. The display is excellent, the body is well designed (both aesthetically and functionally) and the price point is solid for the hardware.

Impressed. I am pretty excited at how well this plays the games I want and no lag. I was really having a hard time with my old one. This downloads so quickly. Games like GTA V run so smooth for me. Of course using browser and such runs well too. I am pleased with this!

Fans on for no reason. Fans are too loud. Even though it is sold by Best Buy we cannot trade in this device at best buy itself

Power on the laptop very quickly. and running programs smoothly. not heavy to carry. And Asus has battery software you can download to keep the battery healthy and use it for a longer time. I recommend this laptop.

The computer itself is good, the frame and screen is beautiful, I like that you can upgrade the storage so thats a pus but man the battery is definitely whats kills it for me, I had this thing @ 100% battery and the lowest settings and everything and lost 30% of battery after watching 1 : ONE episode of the Witcher that was pre downloaded, after that I noticed it wasnt usable for anything unless it was plugged in! other than the battery this thing is amazing, 144 FPS in everything on max settings or a little less in basic performance mode.

Very sleek laptop. Only complaint would be the bloatware but it's easily removed. Add another SSD and you'll be golden. Be sure to snag it while its on sale and it'll definitely be worth your money.

It’s a good computer. I do like it. Would give 5 stars, but I told the guy I like Sims and can’t download Sims 3. Definitely a bummer. Works for unreal engine and 3ds max… definitely a Plus!
