Beautiful laptop, Horrible QC from Asus; I gave up

I returned 2 Flow x13s because of screen and heating issues and now I had to return 2 Asus M16s both because of horrible screen backlight bleed. I guess I am done with Asus at this point for horrible quality control on such expensive laptops. Let me get this straight. I am a professional that absolutely needs a 16:10 or 3:2 aspect ratio screen so that I can both work and do a bit of gaming. After my frustrations with the horrible response time and heating on Flow x13, I though I would get some respite with the M16. Both the M16s that I got were excellently built, no doubt about it, but the screen.......OMG the horrible backlight bleed on the screens!!!!!!! If you don't know what backlight bleed is, go look it up and then look at your M16 screens. It is most noticable when your laptop is booting and you have the ROG logo on screen. My screens were so bad with the bleeds that even best buy reps said dang while returning them. At this point I exchanged my last M16 with an XPS 15 at bestbuy and my experience is already a million times better. Asus please get your QC straight. These laptops must be fines for teens who game, but people who need it for color accurate work and gaming cant use screens with horrible backlight bleeding.

I haven't had any major or even minor problems with it which is good but seriously a good laptop for the average teen to young adult :)

Our biggest headache is in getting set up with 365 but TotalTech will get that right! Looking forward to all things working well.

I would recommend again however if you need more memory like myself spend the extra and get it also there’s only one slot for ram so choose wisely.

Came in the original box, and was likely just a display laptop. Either way, good price, good specs, and overall decent laptop if you've looked into this product. I have found a very annoying issue however, the Wifi card on this laptop can barely pull 20 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band (I have gigabit Google Fiber and I'm running the speed tests right next to the router). The 5 GHz speed tests yield the expected speeds I need, which is fine if I was going to keep the laptop at home. Given I don't, I'll likely be replacing the Wifi card. Just something to be mindful of.
