I got this dock while it was on a fantastic sale. I believe it was only $30 when I bought it so it is very much worth it. I’ve been using it for over a year now and it has never given me issues. I like that I’m also able to use it with my MacBook if I want to connect it to my TV.

Works great and stores extremely well. 10/10 would but agian if i had to.

works great allows you to charge your Asus rog and allows you to connect your rog to a computer monitor or tv.

Excellent dock haven't had any problems with it only reason I purchased is because when the device debut it was my only option now there is many more docks in the market but this one never gave me any problems like 3rd party docks do like not providing 30w mode

Works as intended and very compact! No issues with the product so far all though it gets a tad bit warm as to be expected.

this thing works great - can use it for a switch with a firmware update, easy to do

Bought this dock to hook up the rog ally to my tv via hdmi and it works perfect! It keeps the ally charged and running in turbo mode while simultaneously casting to my tv.

Great, until I lost it at the airport. Charged my device much quicker than my phone charger

Great dock for ROG ALLY was able to connect keyboard/monitor easily and finish setting up the process for the new SSD. For anyone getting stuck at the enter password section for the ASUS CLOUD RECOVERY. USE A USB HUB OR THE CHARGE DOCK and connect your ROG ALLY/USB KEYBOARD. It’s best to do this entire process with an external WIRED keyboard. I kept getting a connection failed message and couldn’t enter my password but was able to enter the pw with a keyboard connected and able to successfully get my ROG ALLY working

Super nice product. I use it for my steamdeck and I have no problems with it at all. It is small and easy enough to hide that it looks like I am just plugging in my steamdeck to a TV and not a dock.

Works great when it works - it's not a matter of the dock working though - the Ally itself sometimes seems to get a little hung up and force you to either restart your TV or the Ally itself. The power is great from this, and it's HELLA convenient for taking places because then you can use a hotel TV etc and basically have the Series S PORTABLE we alll wanted!!! I'm writing this review using this dock, a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and my dining room table. Having a true Win11 PC for this tv means it'll ALWAYS be ready to go, because that's where and how I charge it (this dock). Great product overall - glad I bought it!!

If you have a Rog Ally and you want to stream anything from your rog Ally onto a monitor or TV and basically turn it into a legitimate PC build you need this. Absolutely excellent product!

It works perfectly compact size. Charges quickly. I lost the orig charger while moving and this does the trick for sure.

Used it with the asus rog ally, works perfectly. HDMI works fine. Better than the one provided with rog ally as it is 65W. Charge very fast.

This solution for a "hub" from ASUS is pretty lackluster and overpriced. The available ports for the price you are paying is a title bit of a smack in the face to consumers considering the options out there and the world we live it. It functions perfectly fine and feels of quality and does what it advertises, but it is a glorified power brick with an HDMI out. I would suggest buying an alternative dock with more functionality to use with your Ally

Nice tv doc charger, it’s smaller than the originally charger that comes with the rog ally and I got it on sale!!

High quality dock built into a charger. I haven’t received my rog ally yet so i tried it with my laptop and it worked perfectly. Cheaper docks don’t come with a charger so this is actually a pretty good deal. The USB C cable is a nice braided cord and long.

If you want a quick sure fire way to connect the ALLY to a monitor/tv, and also connect a controller, m/k via the hmdi and usb 2.0 this is what you want to dabble with first. Many are going to be content with it, keep in mind its not a full solution dock if your looking to connect faster, connect more you are better off getting a j5create usbc 3.2 gen 2 4k mini or something similar even if just not to use the sd slot on Ally.

I received this charger dock on July 17th, 2023 and it did not last long, it has stop providing a charge as of September 27th, 2023. I verified it was not my Ally by trying the charger that was provided, which still works. I generally like Asus products, however this one seems to be a rushed product that does not allow you to use the Ally to it's full capability. The Ally can do Freesync, however the charger dock's HDMI cable will not allow you to use Freesync or Adaptive Sync on capable monitor or TV. It would have also been a bonus if it included multiple USB ports to allow for a keyboard and mouse if someone wanted to use wired for their gaming. I did also encounter times during the timeframe it functioned when I would have to unplug it from the wall and remove the usb c cable and then plug everything back in before it would start to charge the Ally again. You would have better luck if you used a third party dock that had display port or HDMI that allowed you to pass Freesync.
