This is great if you want to stay with the brand. It does as advertised. If you have a PC workstation desk that has available outlets on the desk, this would be a nice addition. However, if you're using a wall outlet to connect your TV and Ally, this would not be ideal. This is more useful as a travel solution as opposed to a home setup. Look elsewhere for a cleaner dock setup. If you want an on the go type set up, look no further. This would pair nicely with a portable monitor.

I bought this and plugged it into my 160hz monitor to play Fortnite on my ROG Ally and it was a great experience. 10/10. Unit gets hot but not as hot as i expected it to.

This is a must have accessory for the Ally. Or any device with a usb-c display out. Ive had my Ally hooked up to my 70 inch tv and its amazing!

Not the best price but there is not much competition with HDMI out UBC C and USB
