It runs at 4K for interface and 1080p for gaming. Fun fact: you can connect a USB hub to connect more than one USB device. Im using the USB ports on my monitor for this purpose. Im going to put one in my living room and by my fitness area so I can dock to any TV in the house.

When I just received it was happening once in an hour or two hours, but now sometimes it happens every 20-30 minutes (( Unfortunately, the return window is closed and I can't return it or get a replacement.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH FREESYNC AND/OR VRR

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This product is significantly overpriced for what it is. one single hdmi port and one usb 2.0 port is pretty pathetic. the one single reason to buy this would be to output signal to an external display and at that task it fails miserably. this is necause the device makes the HDMI connection lose amd freesync. there are other external docks that use displayport instead of hdmi for hooking up an external monitor and freesync works. i literally spent HOURS trying every single thing i could think of and tried several freesync monitors. this product is impossible to use for the purpose for which it was intended. if you use this dock you will not get freesync and/orr vrr on your tv/monitor no matter what you do. it doesnt matter that the both the ally and your external monitor are freesync compatible because the dock is NOT. waste of my time and a joke of a product at the ridiculous price point. there are better docks for cheaper.

It would either not charge the device or cause the display to occasionally time out and prompt a bunch of system errors. It decided to not use it anymore because it could potentially corrupt my display drivers and cause BSODs with the constant disconnecting that it does. Just get a JSaux or an Ivoler Dock instead. Not only are they cheaper but work better and they come with more USB ports and ethernet

The only issue I have is that it loses connection to whatever display I have but I'm not sure if that is a type c cord issue that came with my rog or a dock issue. I need to test it out with another cord I have.

For gaming on a monitor and controller
