    Not impressed. Ally consistently said it was not receiving enough power when using this block. Went with a USB- c hub which works just fine.

    I bought this strictly for my rog ally and I only needed it because, I wanted it to do 120 FPS it only got 60 So I recommend this for people who don’t need a high refresh rate It’s good build quality.

    Item instructions are very limited. It does not fully explain how to use the Dock/adapter to connect wired keyboard/ mouse. Currently just an expensive second power supply for travel use.

    Could be better for the price

    This charger dock for the rog ally comes with a type c cable and has connections for a hdmi and a usb slot. However they coild of at least put a 3.0 usb instead of a 2.0. Reason why i gave it a 3 our of 5.

    Expensive and died after 3 weeks. No longer provides power or HDMI but USB still works. Disappointing for sure given how expensive this is. This thing gets VERY hot as well. Do not recommend.

    Great idea, but poor quality for how much it costs

    I had this for less than a month and it started giving a weird burning plastic smell. When I reached out to Asus about it, they wanted me to send the Charger and my Asus Rog Ally in (which works fine with the original charger), and Best Buy wouldn't do anything about it unless I went to the store. Overall, I can't recommend this and would actually recommend people to stay away from this product if you can. If you are looking for a charger for an Asus Rog Ally, that supports up to 100w so there are better options.

    Reaally off choice by ROG to not have an official 'dock' outside of this solution. Duplicates the scren just fine, just kinda skews any cable management to make work

    Faulty cable

    I planned to use this on a family trip and it only worked for about 30 seconds before poof... Nothing. The cable won't charge or transfer any data. I am very embarrassed to have spent $70 on this junk. Not happy at all.

    Did its job, until it didn't. Broke after 2 months

    Like many of the 1 star reviews, ROG Ally official charger dock broke after only 2 months of use... the USB port works as intended still connecting to multiple USB connections even a USB dock, but the charging doesn't work... it makes the Ally vibrate every couple of seconds like the initial plug in except doesn't provide a charge. I was planning to buy a 2nd one, because I need the USB connection for peripherals + charging while still being portable around my hands which is not easily done with a dock... but after this one breaking so soon, I might avoid buying the 2nd one and look for a 3rd party that can do the same except with better quality control, because this is not it. Looking to replace now.

    HDMI forces display to second screen

    There is no option to allow the Rog Ally not to automatically switch from the screen to the external monitor. I would like to be able to manually switch displays as I do not always want to use my TV when charging. And if my TV is not set to the Rog Ally I get a black screen making it a hassle to switch back. It is also overpriced.
