    Charges well, transfers video well, only a USB 2.0 port. Was hoping to have a simple dock to connect my game drive. I move my games I'm not actively playing so there's space for the ones I am on my Ally. Liked the idea of that just being the charger. No dice

    Does what it's supposed to but the USB-A port could have been at least 3.2 gen 2 instead of just 2.0

    No 4k

    4k lasted about a day then the Ally started doing the “ba-dump ba-dump” sound that you get when devices are being connected/disconnected and it hasn’t done 4k since. I moved this to my HD in the bedroom and use my JSAUX dock on my big screen.

    Overpriced for bad HDMI output functionality.

    The device charges your Ally and gives you one (1) USB port well enough, but the HDMI out functionality (which is probably what you're buying this for) is not good. Blurry display, bad frame rate, and the resolution will randomly resize itself during use. How much of this is the docking station and how much is the ROG Ally itself is debatable, but when they are intended to be used together I'd expect better.

    Who runs an HDMI cable to a power outlet??

    Get a third party dock with the correct power output. Running your HDMI to a power outlet is precisely as annoying as it may seem. Not sure why this product is designed the way it is.

    Cable doesnt work

    The cable doesnt work for displaying an external monitor and doesn't charge at all, only tranfers data. Now I cant replace it because its sold out everywhere.

    It has always been a little iffy since the beginning. I would plug it in, and it wouldn't charge, and sometimes it would. I think i got a defect unit, but as of now, this thing refuses to charge anymore.

    Not worth it

    It doesn’t charge my Rog ally at the same speed as the original charger that came with my hand held. The features are cool but I when just using the charger alone with nothing else plugged in to the dock, it took longer.

    Stopped Charging My Asus Rog Ally

    Quality Control is so Negative

    Malfunctioning after months from time they release, charging and hdmi comes off and on. ASUS releases Rog ally and this charger dock without assurance in Quality Control. I wish they could have made sure that these product have the 100% Quality, with almost no defect. Rog Ally and these dock is so wonderful if the Quality is just perfect. I will have to return this dock and I don’t know if I will get the same one or just go get other better quality product. I wish they can replace it and I will give it a chance.

    So I got this a little over a month ago. Worked great for 4 to 5 weeks. Now, no longer delivers power to anything. Avoid if possible. Almost anything else should work better.

    I think it's a very nice product for entry level gamers but if you want this to replace your PC you're going to need to buy the ASUS XG Mobile GPU to actually run game smoother

    Had issues with disconnects midgame and doesn't support Freesync. It's easy and straightforward to use if you get a good one,. maybe I had a defective one

    Doesn't support freesync on external monitor

    Hooked this up to my nice freesync 120 hertz monitor, and it doesn't support freesync. Therefore, I can only classify this as a decent dock but not really for gaming.
