Weird choice but ok

Great idea, but poor quality for how much it costs

When I reached out to Asus about it, they wanted me to send the Charger and my Asus Rog Ally in (which works fine with the original charger), and Best Buy wouldn't do anything about it unless I went to the store. Overall, I can't recommend this and would actually recommend people to stay away from this product if you can. If you are looking for a charger for an Asus Rog Ally, that supports up to 100w so there are better options.

Faulty cable

Nothing. The cable won't charge or transfer any data. I am very embarrassed to have spent $70 on this junk. Not happy at all.

Did its job, until it didn't. Broke after 2 months

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like many of the 1 star reviews, ROG Ally official charger dock broke after only 2 months of use... the USB port works as intended still connecting to multiple USB connections even a USB dock, but the charging doesn't work... it makes the Ally vibrate every couple of seconds like the initial plug in except doesn't provide a charge. I was planning to buy a 2nd one, because I need the USB connection for peripherals + charging while still being portable around my hands which is not easily done with a dock... but after this one breaking so soon, I might avoid buying the 2nd one and look for a 3rd party that can do the same except with better quality control, because this is not it. Looking to replace now.

Connection a Little Loose

HDMI forces display to second screen

I would like to be able to manually switch displays as I do not always want to use my TV when charging. And if my TV is not set to the Rog Ally I get a black screen making it a hassle to switch back. It is also overpriced.

No 4k

I moved this to my HD in the bedroom and use my JSAUX dock on my big screen.

Cable doesnt work

Overpriced for bad HDMI output functionality.

Blurry display, bad frame rate, and the resolution will randomly resize itself during use. How much of this is the docking station and how much is the ROG Ally itself is debatable, but when they are intended to be used together I'd expect better.
