Finally I can enjoy 30 Watt turbo mode when connected to my monitor! This compact dock works really well !

A great addition to the ROG Ally. I wish this charger came with the Ally as it is immensely helpful and adds HDMI for monitor extension. Charges fast and the best feature is the prongs fold up making it compact.

This item is a must have for thebrog ally. Using this hub allows for ease of use when connecting to an external monitor to extend your work productivity/gameplay and entertainment. The only negative is i wish it had more ports but other than that its amazing.

Amazing for on the go, took it with me on a deployment and played video games on a projector, no lag, no issues.

Playing with the Ally on ny TV was seamless with this dock. Everything ran smoothly and looked great!

This dock works perfectly when traveling on vacation, or just wanting to hook my laptop or nintendo switch up to a TV at a friend's house. Had no troubles installing the software update to get it working with the switch, and it works perfectly out of the box with my steam deck.

This works great, I did not realize it comes with a USB C cable as well which is awesome. The foldable outlet prongs are also a nice touch and add to the portability.

Great adaptor! I use it for both my “Steam Deck” & my “Ally”. I can confirm that the HDMI port works well for either one. (The SteamDeck needs to be put on “external display” safe mode in order to work & can be fickle to adjust “resolution/hz” manually, requiring an unplug/replug to reset). It comes with a braided heavy gage (& I mean heavy) USB C to USB C cord. Along with the adapter (which itself is pretty hefty as well). Overall it’s a great investment for the Ally & the Steam Deck owner looking to get the most from the system(s).

Charges my rog / phone fast. Works exactly how it says it does. Shoss the Rog on your tv usually at 30fps at least on a big screen. Prob would work better on a 1080p hd Tv.

So i'm sure this will be unpopular opinion but really no ethernet port? Lets not leave out sure the hdmi 2.0 is great however when plugged into my sound system it won't see my 7.1 speakers when another off brand dock will. Only reason I got this was in hopes of getting full power out of the Ally with manual at 53w FPPT. My old steam deck dock only gets me 25w on turbo but I get ethernet and my 7.1 sound. The design for me is just odd as well to call it a dock. Every dock out there is a separate piece with a power supply plugged in. having this into the wall or a power strip and hdmi and maybe a usb hub into it is also weird.

Does what it’s supposed to do and is pretty universal. Works with steam deck, rog ally, and my Lenovo yoga7. I would recommend to anyone looking for a portable dock.

Basically plug n play. DONT FORGET TO UPDATE THE DOCK! its not a step in the instructions, im just used to having to update everything i buy. The only downside to this model is there’s not enough usb ports for the price. Sure it is very portable, and its quality. Just seems like something that should come with the device. Or maybe charge $30 tops. There’s some pretty incredible docks out there for the same price that have 10 times the features. If you’re only looking to buy here, I’d say get the regular dock. This one has to have a usb hub if you want to use multiple devices. There’s always Bluetooth but I prefer the 2.4 all day.

I am an ASUS Fanboy already and bought two of these adapters before i even owned a ROG Ally. I was able to catch them on a deal of the day sale. Couldn't be happier with the product as it works across everything else i use it for besides my Handheld Ally. Build quality of brick is great as well. The usb c wire is also braided with heavy durable material.

I was puttin off getting this because of the price. I'm glad I finally did it. It connects easy and works great when I connect it to my monitor or television. If you don't have it just get it. It's worth it.
