This is a fantastic router! I replaced my old Nighthawk with this unit and I no longer have connectivity issues in my furtherest rooms or my downstairs areas. I always just assumed I had to live with dead zones, but this ASUS router has performed far better than I ever expected! Well worth the money!

My Orbi RBS850 started to have problems after 2 years. I spent many hours troubleshooting and talking with tech support. I decided to buy this Asus GT-AX11000 and all I can say is WOW! So much customization. We have many wifi devices and do a lot of streaming and gaming (all at same time) with no problems. I was afraid that his did not have the range like the Orbi mesh system since this didn't come with a satellite unit for a mesh system. I am happy to report that the range on the Asus is awesome and all my devices connect with no problems. I was assured that I could create a mesh system should I need it. The one negative is the size: this is a monster! The other negative is its price but well worth the money. I suspect the price may come down as the new wifi7 version is out. I am tempted to put Asuswrt-Merlin firmware on this...

Best router, top speeds and tons of user friendly settings

The WAN port on my AX6000 Wifi Router died so I bought the GT-AX11000. It is performing perfectly. Also the backplane bandwidth increased from 6 Gig to 11 Gig.

Very good for fiber optic internet, no modem needed so i ran the internet wire to the ethernet connection like as if it was coming from a modem and i have great wifi now

This was by far a great investment for my gaming family. It has a great range and can handle many electronics at once.

Technically, this is a great router hardware wise but I'd avoid it because within an hour of plugging it in, a new firmware came down that included three mandatory agreements. In total, there were 3000 words that I was suppose to read. If you don't agree, the interface is bricked and features are turned off. Sure, just ignore it and agree but it is concerning that Asus would brick my interface an hour after I unpacked it. Worse, the associate forgot the price match. Correcting it 5 minutes later means the item cannot be returned. I have a nice piece of hardware that changes the legal terms and blocks me from using it and I can't return it. I have principals. Tech stuff: I like the VPN stuff. Their cheapest routers have similar features but I am using this as a passthrough from my ISP and I am not doing that with a $150 router. VPN Fusion, Instant Guard and VPN server are the features that have always impressed me about ASUS. The bad parts are the interface. There is so much on the main screen but it's mostly fluff. A menu and it tells you how many devices are connected. I'd rather it list the devices as well as more network details about itself upfront. I had to hunt quite a bit with their long scrolling vertical navigation just to find out where the MAC address is. The second 5Ghz band shows but isn't working. I'm sure I'll figure that out. There are no port lights on the actual connections. You have to look at the other end of the router and this thing is huge. I want to know at the port what is going on. Not the logic connection to the front that seems to be in a different zip code due to its size. You have to log out or you can't get back in from another location. If you were downstairs and wanted to make a change upstairs, it won't let you in until you go downstairs to log out.

Great router. This router improved my online gaming experience. The app makes it easy to make my gaming priority. Has great range also. I like the 3 channels. I have my IOT devices all on one channel and the rest on the others giving them higher priority.

Was easy to setup and configure. Supports the ASUS AI Mesh. A little expensive for what it is, but so far works great.

Just got it yesterday and so far my WiFi is improved but my ping on cod went from 29-31 w my archer ax11000 to 33 -35 w this. Also they don’t tell you but the third level of gaming acceleration is like 12 month for some kinda vpn app

Mostly got this for the vLAN capabilities with the Beta version the the firmware, haven't gotten to it yet. With the basic features, it is an amazing router, I have had 0 issues and the speed is what I needed. I am also using Meraki devices at home with a pihole.

Perfect for ensuring a solid connection between all of my devices without needing to LAN cord everything.

Best router I have ever owned. Signal reaches super far and you’ll even notice your phone speed increases dramatically when connected. If you have a lot of internet users in a house consider giving this router a chance.

I have used a mesh router from eero before this and it was fine but sometimes the signal was not very good for gaming wifi from the next room. This one is a beast and I mean it looks like a PlayStation from the future and works awesome.

Strong router for larger home with multiple wifi needs

Just got it yesterday so obviously no long term usage, but everything is faster with this router. Just another purchase where I thought why didn’t we just go with the better router in the first place instead of waste money on other subpar products.

This has been the best product that Ihave bought really fast and my gaming is not interrupted by drops od internet i teullywould recommend this product to anyone that loves to play or just browse freely on the web .

Its a very good gaminf router for gamers or just if you need good wifi I recommend it for everyone and it reaches out for a long rage and it slow down no matter how many ppl are connected
