I recently purchased the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro Tri-band WiFi 6 Gaming Router from Best Buy, and it’s been an absolute game-changer for my home network! This router delivers blazing-fast speeds up to 11,000 Mbps, making it perfect for my household’s heavy demands—whether it’s 4K streaming, competitive gaming, or multiple devices running at once. The tri-band WiFi 6 technology ensures smooth performance, with one 5GHz band dedicated to gaming, so I never experience lag during intense online matches on my PS5 or PC.
The setup was a breeze thanks to the intuitive ASUS app, and features like triple-level game acceleration and OpenNAT have noticeably reduced ping and simplified port forwarding for multiplayer games. The 2.5G and 10G ports are a huge bonus for my wired devices, delivering lightning-fast file transfers and stable connections for my NAS and gaming rig. ASUS RangeBoost Plus extends coverage throughout my home, eliminating dead zones even in tricky spots. The robust security with AiProtection Pro and WPA3 gives me peace of mind, and the sleek design with customizable RGB lighting adds a cool vibe to my setup. For gamers or anyone needing a high-performance router, this is a fantastic choice

Great WiFi 6 Router!

The Asus AXE11000 GT router is a powerhouse when it comes to delivering high-speed internet and advanced features. The speed and coverage this router offers are truly impressive, allowing me to seamlessly stream 4K content, engage in online gaming, and handle multiple devices without a hitch.
The tri-band setup is a game-changer, ensuring that there's always a dedicated channel for critical tasks. This has led to smoother connections and reduced lag, especially during intense gaming sessions. The Wi-Fi 6E support means I'm future-proofed for the latest devices, and it's great to see Asus staying ahead in terms of technology.
The router's user interface is easy to navigate, making it simple to customize settings and manage connected devices. The inclusion of security features like AiProtection is a welcome addition, giving me peace of mind against potential cyber threats.
However, I do have a couple of minor concerns. The design of the router is quite large and might not blend seamlessly into all home aesthetics. Additionally, while the router's performance is excellent, its price point is on the higher side compared to other options on the market.
Overall, the Asus AXE11000 GT router is a high-performing beast that delivers on its promises of speed, coverage, and advanced features. The inclusion of Wi-Fi 6E and robust security features add to its appeal. While its design and price could be better, the router's performance more than makes up for it. I'd give it four stars for its impressive capabilities and only minor room for improvement.

I upgraded from an older Asus router and this was much need. It's speed is so much quicker. Haven't had trouble while playing video games online with the family. Four gaming systems going at once; plus the son is on his Chromebook; and streaming on Roku all at the same time. No buffering. The setup was quick and being able to have each band have their own name and password is awesome. Being a parent and wanting to make sure the kids aren't watching things that are inappropriate the parental controls is decent. Not as good as Netgear but I don't have to pay for a subscription so to me that's way better plus it has built in security. There is a little trouble with the range of the 5g in the two story house since the router has to be set up in the bottom corner but nothing that has stopped everyone from enjoying streaming service or playing video games.

Loads of adjustable settings to keep your home network safe and secure, easy to setup and manage connections and has great wifi range.

High quality, very fast router. It is an air mesh router and meant to be paired with another router so its reach by itself isn’t as far as my old ASUS router but it’s not bad. I’ve just been a little spoiled. We have an old home with loads of hallways so the house can be an issue. We have lines running to the PS5 in the back bedroom. It’s super fast! It was very easy to setup and has loads of features! I love having the triband frequencies. Our smart lights require a dedicated 2.4ghz. I split the tvs and other various items between the other two 5ghz channels. Though I doubt running everything on one channel would slow this thing down! Much better than the Netgear we tried and returned.

This router is a beast. Coverage is outstanding and works well with my AiMesh system – setup was easy. For whatever reason, it solved the issue of random devices losing connection. It is fast and in fact more than doubled the speed of my WiFi – going from ~ 400 Mbps to over 900 Mbps. I wish I had purchased this router long ago.

I pride myself in being cutting edge, so why would I be so excited about purchasing a WiFi-6 router in Q4 of 2023? Easy, it has the performance and practical features that I use and benefit me every day. Free security features, Multi-gig WAN and LAN, AiMesh Support, UNI-4 Band, WAN and LAN Aggregation, and feature-rich firmware right out of the box.
I really liked my older Netgear RAX-120. Unfortunately it was aging and was running into some stability issues I just couldn't correct. It had great speed and coverage, but the firmware always kept me at arms length. This router is better in both speed and coverage, and the Firmware allows me to control and interact with the router in ways that I could not with the Netgear.

The best WiFi upgrade I have made so far. I can have 60 WiFi devices online and no lag or latency complaints. I can go 100m in all directions and still be connected. I also have a cat6 running to a Netgear prosafe gs108 with no issues. There have been consistent updates to the router from Asus. If you don't know how to hook it up, it's easy but can take a few minutes so feel free to pay geek squad if you need.

If you're not in a rush to buy a gaming-centric router, the TP-Link Archer AX11000 is a cost-effective choice with similar hardware to its competitors, though it's hard to find in stores. On the other hand, the Asus ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro becomes the go-to if immediate replacement is necessary. While it's an exceptional router, its large size, unattractive design, and higher price compared to the TP-Link AX11000 are notable drawbacks. Despite these factors, it performs flawlessly, making it a worthwhile option for those ready to invest in a high-end router.

Absolutely a beast of a router. The footprint is large so I made a shelf to house it in the center of the house, Plugged it in and fired it up. I hooked the fiber optic 1 gb ethernet cable into the 2.5g port and the app fired right up and knew what we were ready to do. Set all the perimeters to the same as my old router so all the devices would auto connect and boom it was plugged in and installed in under three minutes. Hooked my xbox series x up to the 10 g port and off we went. went out to my mall box and still had strong signal. the awesome thing is that it has the range boost so even a 1 bar signal is still pulling 300 mbs. so far very happy with this new addition to my house. I set up the old router non rog as a mesh router and put it at the furthest part of the house and now the pool gets strong wifi as well. over all im glad asus is still making some of the best stuff out there. My second choice was a tp link gaming router. What made this my first choice was having my old router 3 years with not one problem or throttling and the adaptability to read the on demand QoS. I really started hating buying things online from best buy because of there back end department. If something gets lost its like pulling teeth for them to do the right thing. That being said they used the local Rodie service and it was great and professional. The person showed up said hi and said thank you for shopping with best buy. If in the future they made it so you can ship to store and then use them that would be awesome. Thank you asus and best buy for getting me an updated router

Setup for this was pretty straight forward. Took a bit to get separate networks for different items in my house but it cover my 1750 sqft house easily. Have multiple lights, cameras, computers, etc all attached and no slow downs at all. Say the hardest part about using it is getting the at&t fiber modem to go into "bridge" mode since the new ones don't have that specifically

I have had many routers and this one is one of the best. The set up is fast and easy. Its better than what xfinity or spectrum give you with there gig speed. I went from getting 200-400Mb to 950 to 1.1Gb downstairs in my 1800 sq ft townhome. My place is 3 stories and the router is on the 2nd floor. I had a night hawk RAX120 a couple years ago and it’s as good as that for less money.

This Asus router is easy to set up. The router boosts your WiFi signal on all devises. It can be used to prioritize gaming, streaming or for work. You can also use other ASUS routers to create a network that will give you WiFi signal on dead spots or far away areas that WiFi can’t reach just by parring them. Highly recommend this for any gamer or streamers to get and use.

Purchased to replace a failing router of a previously great brand that now charges for features/support. The parental controls work well and were easy to set up. Our network speeds have improved and we no longer suffer from random WiFi disconnects. Our old router started to cause DNS issues with loading pages and that has stopped with the new router. The app is stable and easy to use, as well as the Admin web browser.
One con, it is LARGE and must sit flat....cannot be hung on the wall. Our desk area is tight (2 adult gamers), so we have to hang a shelf for it.

It's big, enormous. But it also now reaches all corners of my house without a mesh set up. I used it to upgrade to 2gbps internet and get that full speed to my main PC. The reset of the house is all on 1 GB.
Main issues is that as far as I can tell if you were to use the 10gbps port for lan. The 2.5gbps power becomes useless vs mapping back to the LAN. That cost it one star.
