Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000's extensive range, strong performance, and ease of setup. Many found the improved signal strength and WiFi 6 capabilities beneficial, while some noted the router's large size and high price point as drawbacks. A few users experienced issues with firmware and the number of Ethernet ports. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and range outweighs the negative comments regarding size and cost.

This looks like a sacrificial altar.....and it is. It sacrifices all your slow speeds and low-end router management to give you blazing performance. This thing is awesome. The web and app interface are super straightforward. The controllable RGB is a plus. The aggressive styling looks nice in the right setting. Only downside is that there is NO (NONE, ZERO, NILTCH) ability to wall-mount. For this price, it should have that but it doesn't

I used the Asus AX11000 router for years before I finally decided to upgrade to a mesh system. We were paying for 1GB internet speeds and with this router it was easy to get the download speed we wanted on average bout 700-900+mbs. The Asus router app is very intuitive and allows easy control over the router as well and if you need to do anything advanced the web browser admin portal is exceptional. You can even wire this to anothe Asus router and it can act as a sattelite for this unit!

Great speeds … when the router stays connected. I have Cox cable , the modem is fine and I currently have the top tier in speed. When speed check is performed with direct connect receiving over 800 when performing from iPhone downstairs around 300-500 speeds fluctuates. Currently using as a mesh system with the GT being the brain for the other two.

My rating is, in all fairness, not an optimum calibration. My ISP and my monitor both may have a legit influence on my overall experience, so I can't necessarily put ALL the onus on the AX11000. That said, I bought this not-at-all-inexpensive router after reading countless reviews, and my experience has been...less than "all that". It's a fine router even in view of my other potential speed limit signs, but is it the end of all as has been breathlessly reported elsewhere? Not for me. It's absolutely reliable so far as I can tell, it's just that, for example, the "Adaptive QoS" function, so far as I am able to discern, has pretty much -0- effect, bad or good, on game play. Again, I understand this may reflect other component sluggery, but for those thinking it's a miracle fix to lag...think again. This router has a pretty large footprint as has been endlessly reported, so take that into account if you get one. It's not the size of a swimming pool, but it does command some office space. Overall, I have no legit complaints. It just isn't the superpower thing I had (admittedly, naively) thought it might be. Hope your mileage is better.

Seems to be amazing when it is working. I've had some weird occasional issues where it just disappears and seems to go dead. I reboot it and it comes back to life. I don't know enough to know if the problem is with the router or some other part of my network. So I can't blame this thing for sure. But when it's on and working, it is blazing and I like the software and interface for it also.

I have no complaints for this router. It's an absolute beast! Fast processor, great coverage (long distance) and looks like a spider. What more do you need? RGB is great and programable. I have this in mesh setup with with two AINodes (Tmobile AC1900's flashed to ASUS Firmware). Yes, its expensive but you wont need to buy a new router for years to come as all the new technologies coming out have not been massively adopted.

I have a 2800 sq. ft. House and it completely covered it with the 5 GHz band. A couple things I would recommend with this router, if you want to do a mesh setup try doing it wired as the speeds don’t degrade at all with a wired setup. This is truly a router ready for WiFi 6 and the next generation of home networking. The QOS feature for gaming does also work really well. I also love that ASUS constantly updates the firmware to give you the best performance from the router at all times.
